Turbo Tap, Turbo Cable 6' and the Duo
« on: August 24, 2004, 05:17:31 AM »
Can you use these with the Duo?  Or do I have to get the "Duo Tap" and the "Duo 6' Extension Cable"?  I'm trying to keep the colors somewhat specific to the Duo (I know it's anal) but I don't want all these different colors/cables.

www.tzd.com has some Turbo-to-Duo adapters that you can buy for about $5, I think.  So if you buy one, you can connect your Turbo Tap to your Duo and use all of your Turbo controllers and extension cords.
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

Yea I was just reading the TG16/Duo Faq and you need an adapter.  How lame is that?  Upon closer reading of the faq it describes a way to switch internal plugs?  I'll have to try when I get the stuff.

I'd say spending the five bucks on the adapter would probably be easier than cracking open your Duo and replacing the plug.  But that's just me.

Yea I thought about it and I'm just going to leave it the way it is.  Just wish they would've kept the colors consistent like the TG16.
