McD's employee returns $185,000 check

For once, news that doesn't make you want to run over a prostitute.  A burger slinger returns found check and receives $50 for his effort; not too shabby of a reward for something that he couldn't have cashed anyway.

I'd do the same thing. Of course an envelope full of cash...I'd pocket maybe 200 bucks and then return the rest.  :P

If I found and envelope full of cash, I'd spend it on video games, lol. At least with the check, there is a name to which it belongs.

Actually, with cash, how would one even figure out who it belongs to??  That's what I want to know, cuz, it sucks to lose money, but, if my name ain't on it, how could I even prove it's mine?

Well.. if you were unlucky the owner of the cash could have tracked his bills by their serial numbers.

I think $50 is f*cking pathetic. It probably cost $60 just to stop payment on the thing.

honesty and good nature does not a 'good' manager make. at least from the corporate point of view.

Hahah.. or at least give him a raise.  You know 8 out of 10 Fry-Handlers would have tried
to cash that check.  This guy is a keeper!
