hey, I wonder if anyone else has realized that you can play the japanese AC (or is it DC?)Power adaptor for the Supergrafx right in a us outlet and play? no stepdown needed...I do it, no problems, but I always unplug it when finished..

there isn't much of difference between 100VAC and 110VAC.

now if you plug that into 220VAC or 240VAC you will fry it instantly - and some fancy fire work as well... :p

there were three types of hucard converters I've come across.
One is short plastic in either purple or another colour and didn't work that well... the other one was the board type - ala surfing board style - and worked reasonably well... and then there's kisado one...

I always thought the reason there's only JP>US converter to run JP hucard on US Tubo16/Duo was on US console there's no region lockout where as on PCE/Duo you need to modify the console as well as the hucard converter to run US hucard... guess no one was interested to run US hucard on PC Engine when they are basically a port of JP hucard anyway. :p

True...

But the problem is i have about 10+ turbografx (US) hucards laying around that came with the turboexpress i bought and only 1 Jap (supergrafx) hucard at the moment.
I guess i have to buy a TG 16 also to play them on the big screen.
Where do i gonna keep putting them???

Since i mailed telegames regarding that adapter 2 weeks ago if it will work to play US games on my Jap (just to be sure) and they didn't mail me back and + 69£ is way to much + what if it eventually won't work, it all ads up.

hassle d-lite to mod yours then. :p
I think he's busy but he maybe able to fit in his schedule to mod.
I've done my spare SGX with region mod, hucard mod, s-video and it was worth every cent imho... and he's top block too!

I just won the arcade card pro on ebay!

Still not quit sure what this can do on my supergrafx.
I have the cdrom2 2.0 card for the record.
What can i play now and what can i play with the arcade card pro attached?
The CD's i heard of are regular CD's, SCD's and Arcade CD's...
I appreciate the advise.

with SGX you only need Arcade Card Duo to go with SuperCD-ROM module.
on the other hand if you use CD-ROM2 module with SGX you will need Arcade Card Pro.

Ok,
I have the cdrom2 so i done the right thing.
Then i can finaly play any Jap pc engine related game.
