Don't expect Shou to work with you on price at all. He says "make an offer" and if he doesn't like your offer, rather than counteroffer, he'll send a rude reply and then just ignore you.

Apologies if you think it was rude but your offer was by far the lowest out of several forums and PMs. Not to lump you in the same pack but I am tired of people saying I'll give $50 for all of those games which is obviously not even close to market value. If I offered $100 for a mint complete Sapphire, I would expect to be laughed at, if I got it for that much, great, if not, I wouldn't complain about it as I'm trying to get a really good deal.

In these financially trying times, there is a reason why people are selling games with high value. If you don't agree with the current value, you can always wait for someone else who doesn't need the money or value a given game as much.

Part of the way the "best offer" system works is when someone makes an offer, if the seller deems it too low, they make a counter offer. Judging by your response it's likely we never would have been able to settle on a price mutually acceptable, regardless, a little tact on your part would have gone a long way to make you someone I'd recommend someone else try to deal with. As it stands now, I can't recommend you to anyone as your attitude alone left quite the bitter taste.

My complaint has nothing to do with whether or not you accepted my offer-- on the contrary, as the seller it is fully your prerogative to decline any and all offers. It has solely to do with the fact that you were not only rude about it, you then flat-out ignored my further attempts at trying to glean from you just what you expected to get for the title in question.

As you have said, it's pretty obvious we wouldn't come to an agreement so I let it die out just as many other sellers on many other forums do. Why waste your or my time? Obviously, you're entitled to feel the way you are. Oldtimers like GP know that I've been around for over a decade in the PCE scene and have plenty of positive feedback. I do find it odd that I am getting bad feedback over not a transaction but just PMs and that you are going out of your way to smear me (especially since you are a mod here).

Hes just stating it like it is Shou. Sorry if that hurts, but maybe if you don't like that then don't send people shitty replies when they make offers. Someone else here said in shout you did something similar, telling them you had better offers or sum crap. If you want f*ckin ebay prices for the remainder of what you have left, just take the shit to ebay, simple as that. Nuff said.

Not trying to smear anyone, sir. Someone brought up your name in another thread and I was only sharing my own personal experience. I, myself, am an "old timer" and was a member of the Turbo List since 1996. But that stuff is irrelevant and has no bearing on how we conduct ourselves. Just putting my own experience out there. Others can use that information as they see fit. Selling online is not 100% in the transaction alone, at least 20% is how you deal with customers (and potential customers).

That's it, I'm done.

You can say whatever you will but the fact stands that you hijacked my thread with a reply to a different thread. If that isn't an intentional smear, you're just lying to yourself. Try getting over yourself man. Your offer was what I considered a lowball so I wrote it off but you've taken it very personally. I make no illusions that I am trying to get a decent price for these games. No need to make out that you guys are somehow saviors of the scene by exorcising someone who doesn't act how you want them to or sell at prices you want. Fake offers by PM to check my responses? Sounds like some teenage myspace antics. Grow up guys.

For those who I have legitimately dealt with, thank you. Your items have been sent or will be shortly.

Nat, if it makes you feel better to lock this thread and ban me, go ahead.

Complaining about unsatisfactory PMs still has me in disbelief lol

I don't think that what Nat is stating is unreasonable. Again, as someone has already mentioned on this thread, a part of any purchase transaction is the customer service component of it. If, in negotiating, you behaved as Nat indicated, then that's just poor customer service on your part. If you don't care about customer service, then don't worry about what Nat posts when he describes his customer service experience with you.

No offense to any of the parties involved, but if I was the one selling those games and someone offered me $50 for all of them, I'd be laughing my ass off.

If I may offer a counterpoint, I just bought the copy of Vasteel listed above from Shou and he was quite understanding and polite. I made an offer, he made a counteroffer, and I accepted. I can't wait to receive my game.

Why is it that just because one person here had a perceived bad experience with a new member that everyone jumps on said new member? I can understand the reaction with people like "Sweetest NECtar," but with turbokon? And now Shou? Just because they wanted to do something nice like mod systems or sell rare games?

I think we REALLY need to stop being so paranoid...

The point is Arjak is that he didn't even counter off with Nat,he just sent him a rude ass reply and then never responded back. Someone else on shout said he did something similar to them too. Shit like this happens, then some one around here is going to mention it. Said seller should be embarrassed to treat people here like that. After all,he did leave it up to someone to make offers, why do that then complain about the types of offers made. I'm seriously all for Aaron right now to delete any business threads that are not trade related and don't have prices listed, and post it as a sticky in the buyer/seller rules. That would solve alot of this shit right there and bring order back.
