New Adventure Island on CD-ROM??

So I was trolling a online website I get some rather rare NEC stuff but pricey (got my supergrafx from there but for $350 but boxed and sealed and that is how it will stay, you have no idea how hard it is or me to not open it as I don't have one I can game on....) Anyway they have Adventure Island on a CD-ROM for the PC Engine. So I called fluke and emailed the guys that run the place. And he said it is indeed a CD-ROM and not Hu card. Now I thought this didn't exist in CD form as I can't find any info. Can someone confirm or deny this before I spend $70 on a Hu card I already have complete. And yes I asked for pics but just got an email with txt....

never heard of a cd-rom version of it, so i asume it only can be kinda proto. but since you guy in confidential owns one, why don't ask him for the very details, since he is probably the only one who knows about it.

It might be Bikurriman Wold CD2, Monster Lair or Dynastic Hero (maybe even Chiki Chiki Boys). Otherwise it's a completely unrelated game or a "prototype", which is unlikely since it would've been advertised as such.

The $70 price tag is too low for a somehow undiscovered PC Engine title and is way too much for one of the likely possibilities so I'd stay away unless you get some pics first since this just sounds like a confused seller.

Open your SuperGrafx and play it.  Just stay away from Granzort, that game sucks.

an no, granzört doesn't suck at all. still an OK game IMO.

Ok Granzort doesn't suck, it's just mind-numbingly mediocre.  The transformations are pretty cool but the level design is so bland it sucks the fun right out of it IMO.

I am getting a SGFX very soon so this one will stay sealed with my CDX. I am collecting consoles for my daughter for when she gets older she can enjoy some great games and not get charged out the yin-yang.

Trying to find the link again. I stumbled upon it last night on nfg forums looking around at PC Engine mods and such and hadn't seen it in a while and clicked the link looked around and now for the life of me I can find it. I will find it and maybe if enough people bug him we will know for sure.
