Bloody Wolf Instruction Manual Insanity

I apologize if this has been talked about before, but today I was reading my instruction booklet for Bloody Wolf.

And I noticed something odd about the instruction manual story for Bloody Wolf.

It says in bold text in the start "A crazed General, seeking wealth and power, orders his troops to kidnap him and hide him away.  Now it's up to you to get him out!"  Now hold on a minute, if I read this right that means some crazy general who drinks whiskey out of a flask in his front pocket, wanted wealth and power and thus came up with the idea to have his own troops kidnap him and hide him, and now its my job to save him?  Why should I save him?  Well then it goes on to say "so look yourself in the mirror and ask am I a man or am I a "Wolf"! A Bloody Wolf!"

And yet the top headline says that the presidents plane disappeared in the jungle, but nowhere does it say the connection between him and the General, I mean am I saving two people here?  WTF

That's a type of logic fallacy in philosophy - I forget the name of it. Sort of like "John walk out into the porch to watch the firework in his pajamas."

 Out of curiosity, since you ripped the sentence out of context, is the president mentioned before that sentence? I have the manual, but it's packed away.

It says on the top header of the page that the presidents plane disappeared in the jungle and is missing. 

Then it starts with that quote I gave you in bold, but somehow they forgot to say the General kidnapped the president, and rather they made it look like the General had himself kidnapped.

You know, I thought I already saved the president in Bad Dudes, some guy asked me once if I was a Bad enough Dude to rescue the president on my NES, and sure enough I did rescue him, and so apparently I am a bad enough dude.

Man, that's funny stuff.  Why does the narrative speak to a singular person when there are two heroes?  It also states: "you've got to bring the President back alive - even if it means your own life".  Too bad you can't continue the fight as a zombie; that would've made it teh bestest game evah!
