cheap PC Engine converter on ebay
« on: June 14, 2005, 09:29:27 PM »
so after 6 and a half years of wasting my money on ebay, i'm selling my first item...my old Barney converter.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8199168392&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

i'm sure most of you are rocking super fancy LTs and systems with regional mod switches 8)  but i thought i'd post it on here in case someone is looking to play a few HU cards without dumping a ton of cash.  this one will fit in a Duo as well.

actually, i wasn't gonna post about this until i saw Bullseye selling the same thing for $75 buy it now plus $5 shipping.
i'm starting mine at $15 with $3.85 shipping.  is there anyway i can make sure bullseye doesn't buy mine?
STATUS: Try not to barf in your mouth.

In your "My Ebay" go down the list to your left. Then go to "Related Links" -> "Selling Resources" -> "Managing your Items".

In "Managing your items" you can block certain members from bidding and cancel a member's bid.

Awesome, I didn't know you could block bidders!

Unfortunately, Bullseye might have other accounts... so he could still manage to get this item cheap and then gouge the next Turbo fan.

That bastard!

Ahh! Run away from Bullseye!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

ifwiw i sold mine for $65 last year...
and you can also make the auction private and cancel bid from certain(?) bidders... you will need to put the disclaimer in the auction by the way - i do always and bunch of legal mumbo jumbo... :p

He just beat me in an auction for Madden CD and Sonic Spike. I managed to drive him up to 15.50 though. I considered emailing the seller about him, but if it was me I wouldn't trust anyone who sent me an email like that.

Ahhh, it is wonderful that you upped the price on those games!

What's funny is that I want both the Madden CD and Sonic Spike!  Obviously, I'm not rushing out to buy them just yet, but the Madden CD features clips from a Japanese football league!  And Sonic Spike is one of those games I never played (but I did recently order the Japanese HuCard).
