RGB mod on a PCEngine DUO (not R or RX)
« on: December 17, 2009, 09:38:07 PM »
I've built 4 amplifiers for use on my NEC consoles, I built this one
http://www.gamesx.com/grafx/pce_rgb.jpg

Already used the two of them on my TG-16 with success, excellent picture quality.

Now I'm ready to install one of them on my PCEngine DUO but since i didn't find a thorough guide with photos here, i have a question....
I'll get the RGB signals and composite sync from the HuC6260A chip, i got that allright, but where do i get the +5V from (from the DIN-5 maybe)?
Is there a specific point on the board that i could use for ground or any place at the periphery of the board will do (the thick traces) ?

I typically pull +5V off the DIN, yeah.  And for the ground any of the fat boarder traces work fine.
Check my site for Turbo, Neo, NGPC, and superguns!
