You're welcome.  Considering you made a specific request for Duo_R to "provide a wiring diagram" for taps coupled with the fact that this thread is not about rewiring taps, it sure appeared that you were looking for one.

yes, provide it for the person that actually needs it/asked for it.  (the wiring diagrams)

:)

might want to reread that nested quote

Heed your own advice.  The O.P. (goldenegg) asked for wiring diagrams for pads not taps.  You are the only person that asked for wiring diagrams for changing cords on a tap.

P.S. - It's called 'reading comprehension'; look into it.  :P

when did I say anything about taps?  Pretty sure Duo_R mentioned the tap thing as an aside since the color-match concept wont work.  Hell it might not even work in all cases for pads hence wiring diagrams being a great plan in any case.

lol.

I swapped the connectors on PADS.  I said nothing to do with anything tap related.

what was that about reading comprehension?

arguing this point is pointless.

Duo_R commented that "If you hack a Duo Tap the colors don't match at all, just FYI.", to which you responded "better provide a wiring diagram then."  Considering that m1savage had already posted pad wiring diagrams and that the subject of Duo_R's message was taps (not pads), I used this little thing I like to call 'logic' and concluded that you were talking about wiring diagrams for taps.

arguing this point is pointless.

Indeed, though it helps kill some time at work.  All in good fun, eh?  :D

Yeah, it's a pretty wild assumption to think that a response to another person's comment would pertain to the same subject matter.  Silly me.

somewhat back on topic...

if you have a bunch of TG pads, and don't want to mod them all, you can mod 1 tap and be gtg...

I can also make you a female din-8 to male mini-din cable... be like $20 shipped.  Sounds like you know what yer doing tho.  ;-)
