The less you care, the better you can be. Games are designed so that anybody can pick up and play. People who spend too much time getting lost in video-land will less likely advance.
1. First thing you must realize is that it is not real. It is only signals, and
hit boxes, with programmed responses. After awhile all games look the same, and have the same gameplay. Some people who creates games knows this for a fact so they make games, predicting peoples responces.
However exprienced players get annoyed while newcommers will get adjusted. It is like playing a MMORPG. Once you played one, you pretty much played them all. The creators work hard to catch a persons reaction to the gameplay. Once you realize that you could pick up anything and play.
2. Read a book, a comic, or do another activity. Being active alot, play a sport. takes your mind off the videogame. Your definition in life is not to play videogames, and nobody is. Videogames is like any other media.
To sample, by doing more of something else you can enjoy videogames better.
3. A person is not sappose to own more then one game per system. Insane as it sounds, but that is the reality. The only people who owns more then one videogames are addicts, fans, or people craving more of the same thing. Take Mario, everytime Nintendo released a new Mario game, people would also want to find out what happen in the last two games, never realizing it is more or less the same. However because each game differs, they become variety of the same thing. A person could play Super Mario Brothers three ways. The first is levels 1-8, the
second is the warp pipes, and the third is just for five seconds. That is what I do now I play every once in awhile and then I go back into it.
This allows me to prolong the joy of the game itself.
4. Their are soo many controller types. Players use diffent controllers.
Some people prefer keyboards, arcade sticks, or even foot buttons.
Imagine playing Mario 64 with a DDR mat.
Also who cares if a person fail it is a videogame, it is not real life. If arcade games were so easy nobody wouldn't make any money on continues.
