I think most of us back in the day had a tape like this that we all made of our own stuff. Of course PCE games weren't sitting on eBay by the thousands for $10 each like they are now though so unless you had serious cash and special connections your tape was never going to be as good as these.

Very fun to see!

Cool.  I'm glad you guys are digging it.  It doesn't look like I'll be able to get out the final part before leaving on our trip this afternoon (packing up the RV always takes more time than one would think) but I'll be back on Saturday so hopefully on the 3rd or 4th the rest will be up.

Zeta:  I know a lot of people made tapes of their games, but for some reason, I never did.  I LOVED watching other peoples tapes, though. One of the extras on one of the Turbo Vision DVDs is some of his old VHS footage - which is awesome.  Of course back in those days I didn't have quite the diverse collection of games and systems that I do now (which is still pretty modest compared to a lot of other classic video game fans).

I miss the old days when people shared mix tapes of their favorite bands and mix VHS tapes of their favorite games.  :-({|=

Well, the final part (9) is up.  I had no idea there'd be such positive feedback on this tape.  So glad to have been able to finally contribute something to this most excellent community.

For those of you that messaged here or PM'd me about getting a DVD copy of this (or anyone new) please PM me again if you're still interested.  Now that it's all up on YouTube, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you're no longer very interested in picking up a DVD copy of it.  But if you are, I'd still be more than happy to throw it on a disc (with a little menu and the games select-able by chapter) for the cost of the media and shipping.

Thanks!
