Hi Justin

I am also UK based and I  generally source my TG16 games from Ebay, occasionally you will also catch UK sellers on this forum.

In the past I have also used http://www.consolegoods.co.uk/ they have some loose carts etc and he is UK based.  I am not sure if this site is still trading as there have been no updates since Feb.  However I will be able to let you know soon as I have just asked them to reserve me a few items for my collection!

Cheers

There is a sudden influx of UK N00bs emerging on the TG-16 Scene!!!

Hi Turbo Grafxnoob! I also buy most of my stuff from ebay.co.uk - I got a few at buy it now prices that seemed semi reasonable. I also won the recent aution for the factory sealed copy of Ordyne for £5.50 or there abouts - there was another bidder on that so sorry if it was you  O:)

The GBP is worth so much compared to the dollar, you should just buy your games from U.S. sellers online and pay the little extra for shipping.  If you buy a lot with a few games to consolidate on shipping, you'll really make out like a bandit.

Troll around the forums for a bit and wait for a sale, and if not, I guess ebay gives you some options (though it is hated by many for gouging).  Your currency valuation will basically cancel out any gouging that can occur.

Actually even on single games its not bad to ship to the UK.  Under 4lbs can be sent first class international which isn't very expensive and is reasonably quick to.  I sent tons of single discs (ahem) to the UK and they all made it A OK.

Moeroshop.com was based in the UK and they used to have some sealed games available. I haven't checked out their site in a while though.

yeah i buy a lot of clothes from the US ebay and have it shipped to the UK. Wardrobe full of US Ralph Laurens.

There are a load of new games just went on ebay.co.uk but they are all buy it now and the prices aint really what i'd call cheap... £34.99 for Bonks Revenge http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BONKS-ADVENTURE-NEC-PC-Engine-Turbo-Grafx-16-Boxed-/200625517184?pt=UK_PC_Video_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item2eb6367280

...you could get it shipped from the US ebay much cheaper than that i recon.

i get the impression that they probably are on ebay my friend. I brought a few from the same seller before and i think they were slightly cheaper though, like 6-12 pounds each but i also bidded slightly with the 'Make Offer' feature.

That's right, he's just accepted one offer for Military Madness for 25GPB. The other one's been sold too with a similar offer.

I worked in London for 4 years (2003-07) and a CEX always had some stock downstairs at their Rathbone Place location and Game Focus on Goodge Street did but it seemed to disappear much quicker when they did.  Neither of those shops show stock on their websites so you're better off contacting them directly. Game Focus stocked a lot of Japanese titles for all consoles from Playstation/Saturn forward.

I know if you're not in London it isn't gonna be easy to get there but both companies do online and mail order.
Worth a shot I'd say.

There was also a place in Chinatown that had a bunch of PC Engine titles but I have no idea of the  shop name but it was across the street from bar room bar and primarily sold vcd/dvd/cd and magazines.  Sorry for the high vagueness factor on that one.
