Google+ aka Google Plus - anyone try it?
« on: June 29, 2011, 09:47:59 PM »
I'm kind of excited to try this out, since it seems to address a lot of the issues I have with Facebook. The circles thing especially. I'm also liking the automatic syncing of photos and videos, since I carry an Android phone.

What do you guys think? Anyone have an account?

I'd try it, but I don't have an account.

I tried it.

when it already had all my info filled in prior to my arrival, I said f*ck you, Google.

I'm getting tired of their bullshit.

The next time it logs me in to gmail with my yahoo id (because my computer is also logged into Yahoo), I am going to drive to Google HQ and skullf*ck whoever came up with that.

I signed up.  It reminds me of Facebook about 6 years ago.

Yeah if there are any invites, Gobantoba [ at ] gmail (dot_) com thanks.

I remember starting a Wave invite thread around here.  Look how great Wave turned out.  Wonder if Google+ will have the same fate.  Oh well, still want to try it out.  :)

f*ck THAT

Unlike Facebook, Google contributes money and code to a lot of awesome free software projects. I'd rather them profit off of my public info than Facebook.

It's a shame Wave died. It was actually useful for certain things.

Well I got on the other day. It's still really sparse as far as content goes, but I like the overall structure more than Facebook. It's not perfect though, but I see little tweaks happening every day.

Gobantoba, I sent you an invite. Anyone else who wants an invite, let me know.
