The rarest PC Engine game ever released, only 200 made, never used on my own, bought this only for collecting purpose.

The game is rare, but seen a complete with the letter and the Hudson plastic bag is extremely rare.

I'm owner of several of the more sought after videogames on earth (Mega Drive Tetris, All Star Power League Gold Hu-Card, etc.) and you can bid with 100% confidence my items are real, I'm more than aware of chinese fakes and I assure you mine are the real deal.

Looks like our very own Thibaut was already looking at it too, based on the comments on the auction, good luck! Anyone know the story on this and why it's so expensive/rare? I've head about Darius Alpha but never this game.

It's Power League 1 from the Hudson's Power League series. Dunno how it was called in the USA.

Because they were all crushed when sega lost the fight vs. nintendo. Except some very few pieces which were probably saved by some sega workers back then.

Sure it is the most rare official Mega Drive game (official in terms that it was meant to be officially released) in existence and also sure one of the most thought after games in history of video games. Estimated price for a non-Alexei Patzinov- signed is above the US$15000.

oh that's right I did remember that story about how Nintendo went to Russia and got the rights for Tetris for Gameboy I just didn't know Sega actually had the game produced and made already by the time they lost the right to the game.
