Not complaining about the site but the digging up old threads like this.
Dig up something interesting rather than troll the site.
Dean was a major contributor who made some bad decisions and then made a sincere attempt to rectify those mistakes.
This is much more interesting than 99% of the old shite buried in the forums.
For example, I am pretty sure Dean was the first here who got his hands on the TG-16 quasi-JAMMA kit, *scanned the manual*, and *described his first impressions*.
Key thing: he shared all the info
Sure, some folks may have shared this info in smaller, private circles, but Dean helped satiate a much larger audience's curiosity by posting the info here.
So, even though he was busy, he was totally contributing unique, great stuff.
Years later, BEEMER wrote up a thorough FAQ with photos that I wanted to expand (I was trying to add info on the company, United Amusements but didn't get too far...).
