When I preordered Sonic 3 at Toys R Us back in 1994 or so I got a Spencer Nielsen soundtrack with music from Sonic Spinball and Sonic CD.

I really liked the sequence where you took apart the Sega CD at the beginning.  Did you do that with stop motion?  How long did that take?

Another great episode.  It's so funny.  It seems like the last 4 or 5 episodes have covered games I recently purchased.  I actually passed on Dungeon Explorer.  After watching this episode this morning I decided to go snatch it up but it was sold yesterday.  Dang!  You've also inspired me to grab a copy of Terminator.

I like that you mentioned the Turbo CD. Yes. Also, I remember getting a Sega CD when I was little and being creeped crept out by the Sonic CD death music. Fun times.

Me to. This game much like little Samson I have excepted I will never have as I am not willing to spend around $700 per game.

I've paid $750 for Eliminate Down. Every day is a battle between keeping the game (I love it) or seliing it back (paying that much money for a video game is absurd). I also have Little Samson but got this one for a more reasonable price a few years ago ($150, but cart only).

Regarding the new episode, I loved it. Too bad Lords of Thunder wasn't mentioned though, as it is my preferred version of the game for some reason - I don't mind the darker color palette and greatly enjoy the slightly remixed soundtrack.

The u.s version of keio flying squadron is indeed quite expensive.Luckly the mega-cd version of keio in price is much cheaper and that's the version i have.

I think I want to rewatch the old episode for Sega-CD now....I love that they really transcoded (converted? Whatever it is called) the video to run off of real hardware. Real FMV from Sega-CD.

That aspect alone makes it the best episode.

For this new episode....I wonder if they simply used effects. It looks great, of course. But SFX can't compare to genuine FMV.
