Oh, & for the record, I can only think of one of our games, that's actually in progress, that could be stalled by translation, & that's Monolith.  But, if it does get stalled, you can blame Tat's for that :D  Jungle Bros. has no dialogue, & very little text(probably just the title screen & end credits), Valkyrie Midnight I don't think will have text, though it'll probably have limited voice acting.  I don't foresee that game being multi-lingual.  I'm not sure on Dragon Arm, there'll probably be minimal text & dialogue.  Another project that BT & I are working on will be english only AFAIK.  I think Metro Blaster & Xymati both will have limited text &/or dialogue.  So, unless things change, our announced games can't be affected other then Mono I would think.

B_T: sorry to bug you. I love the cover you designed. I know you didn't solicit for any comments/suggestions, so forgive me!

IMHO, the only thing I would tweak is the title "Mysterious Song"—it does not clearly stand out from the images. Possible solutions? I think that stroke (outside, black, a few pixels larger than currently shown) might do the trick. It would ruin the nice thin black line outline, though, but the alternatives (like a subtle semi-sharp shadow) may not fit the aesthetic style you were going for.

And/or...shrink the title put it off-center.

I'll stop with the unsolicited comments. I just wanted to give my 2 rubles of advice. Don't hate me! I love all your work ;)

I'll try some more tests, but what I've learned so far is that downsized pics make text and logos much harder to read than the full sized image, which looks fine when printed out by my inkjet printer.

I added the helmet to the character design, because I wanted him to have a mysterious and intimidating presence early on like Thulsa Doom and Death Adder. Before his face is revealed, you don't even know if he looks human. It also plays into some specific dialogue in the second cinema.

make sure you do the printout in CMYK when you check "is this readable".  Your presser is going to use CMYK!

Though, this really only affects on-screen colors.  What happens if you make the logo have a yellow border, or if you bevel the text to make it pop out a bit?

I don't know much about this stuff since I blow at art-assembling.

Thanks for the heads up. My printer is cmyk, so it should give me a good idea of what the color balance will look like. :)

Yeah. plus you aren't artarded, so you do good with it anyway.  RGB just looks more vibrant usually.

Theres that neat photoshop button:  Layers--->Style   w/ all the bevel/emboss buttons.  www.aetherbyte.com abuses that stuff

I think the title logo needs to be a bit bigger.

I thought a while ago the game was renamed Mysterious Dong, so covering up the boobies would be appropriate.

None of these projects are under the Frozen Utopia label; they're under the Eponasoft label, where things work quite a bit differently. :)

Yeah, I abuse those effects for the logos and buttons on my site too. :P

I gave the logos and top character a buffer, based on the templates you pointed me towards. I also increased the outer lining of the logo-

I printed out the cover full sized in both RGB and CYMK and there is very little difference with my printer. I think that the cell-shaded style kept it from having any anomalies. Although I don't think most people would notice the difference, the copy that I converted to CYMK before printing does look slightly more vibrant.

The main character has sensitive puppy dog eyes. He is not a tough dude.

The main character is always a kinda sissy, but then he gets it on with the heroine and proves himself while highfiving his sidekick who cries himself to sleep
