Don't spend it all in one place.

Just a quick update on this... it seems all of our testers have vanished, so Keranu and I are handling the confirmation run. English and Spanish scripts are at gold, he's verifying the French script for gold now. It's a good thing we didn't go to pressing just yet, as we found a few obscure issues along the way, one of which was fatal. All is worked out now though. Whether or not this makes the MGC remains to be seen, but as soon as Keranu has finished with his testing of the French script, the debug code gets removed and the discs get burned for shipment off to the pressing house.

Did you want me to get with DHG Hunter about possibly reserving a spot to get MSR some love at MGC???

So THAT'S what MGC is! I always wondered whatever happened to JAGFest. I always wanted MAGFest and JAGFest to be friends (cause JAG along with Philly Classic is kind of what I saw in MAGFest's future). I never knew until now. Thank you Mathius for finally making me go do my homework!

Interesting too because (I think) Philly Classic became Too Many Games Expo the same way JAG transitioned.

The sequel to Splatter House should be called Circle Jerk.

Keranu's test is finished... all the scripts check out fine. There's just one concern about an obscure event in the game... I might rewrite it to be less obscure. It would only take a couple of hours to modify and wouldn't require much testing, fortunately (just once would be sufficient). So... February 7th will be the day we consider it Gold and get it burned for shipping to the pressing house.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Awesome news :)

Yes, it's finally finished at long last. It's going to final beta in a couple of days for the last bit of testing. Pre-orders will be opening up in a couple of hours, just getting everything set up for it now. If you want to pre-order the game, make sure your shipping information in Paypal is correct... we don't wanna have anything get shipped off to the wrong address. :) The preorder bonus was extended to 100 units, so there's still a few left. The price is the same as before, $35. Since it will be shipped this year and there's no plans for the price of USPS shipping to increase, we can do the shipping cost up-front this time so Paypal doesn't get to double-dip. Shipping is a flat $4.95 anywhere in the world, making the total $39.95 per unit. I'll be able to do some price cuts for multiple copies depending on where the order's going.
