Till Dawn we Ride: A Turbob related forum thread RPG

This is a thread to play the "Till Dawn we Ride" Turbografx/PC Engine related role playing game.  This thread will contain 8 players and the GM (Game Master) interacting in a fantastical fantasy world.  The Turbografx world.

I'm going to be the GM, I'll give you, the players a scenario and then it is up to you to act out or role play your actions in thread posts.  As long as everyone keeps posting and we get a few laughs, I'll keep the game going.  Just like most real role playing I do, there is no wrong direction or action (unless you die, then it was perfect for me!) we just play to see what happens.  If you're interested in playing.  Simply fill out the short character sheet and cut and paste it in the PM to me.  I'll add you to the game, and once we get our 8 people(first come first serve)- I'll start the adventure!

Character sheet:
Name – (Your character's first and last name, try to use an actual Turbo/PC Engine related character.)
Personality – (What does your character act like? Is he mean to strangers? Caring? Paint me a picture)
Appearance – (What does your character look like? Explain it in detail, so we will be able to visualize your character. Clothes do not go here.)
Equipment – (What is your character's starting equipment? You put any clothes, weapons, items in this section.)
Skills – (What is your character's specialty? Is he a great musician? Does she like to tell stories? Explain!)
Biography – (This is a place where you put all things about your character's past. This alone might be the judge of how good you are at RPs. I want to see how you can elaborate on a tale and give details to make it come to life.)
Additional Facts – (Is he afraid of the dark? Does she have belching problems. This is where you put any information about your character that was not stated above.)
One Liner - (A one lined sentence showing your characters name and skills. For example: John Smith, the intelligent hobo.)

Additional Facts – He has a slightly tanned twin brother that can aid him in battle simply by pressing [run] on controller 2.

Rules:
  THIS IS A ROLEPLAY FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE! You, the players, get to decide what happens!
  This IS turbografx/PC Engine related. All Turbo/PC Engine characters and villains can and will be used to kill you the players.
  If you are OOC(Out of character) please use ((____))[[_____]]**____** or some form of that.
  If you apply and are accepted, please make sure that you post. No one likes people who sign up and never post.
  Please stay true to your character. The only person who should be able to use magic is a mage, a fighter will rush into battle with sword drawn etc etc.... Being more realistic adds more fun and excitement to the role play!
 :-" Any important things such as fights, exploring, etc. must be explained in detail. Don't say you found some iron, say: It was dark, and my/his/her vision was poor. My/his/her hand traced the wall for direction. A gleam caught the corner of my/his/her eye. I/he/she hurried to it, hoping that it was what I/he/she thought it was. My/his/her hand traced over the rough material. ~FINALLY! Iron at last!~(~___~ is a thought. where it say my/his/her it is implying 3rd or first person, whatever you prefer.)
  Cussing and swearing is perfectly fine, but please for the sake of trevpwnsnoobs, don't use it over excessively.
  Having relationships are perfectly fine. but again for the sake of the kids, no details.
   If your character is having a thought use ("").or some other way for us to distinguish the thought from an action. It helps everyone understand that this is just a thought, and not an action they are taking.

Also, if you're not playing the game, you can still feel free to post here to ask questions or whatever, just please don't do so excessively as that could derail the game.  =)

You are approached at the bar by a young female who introduces herself as Lilia.  She then asks you "Have you seen a man about your height with red hair?  Maybe carrying a sword and bumping into monsters in a field or something?"

Before you have a chance to respond the Inn door bursts open and a caveman, obviously heavily inebriated caveman cries out: "OOGA MOOGA, DABBA DOOBA!"



What do you do?

Personality – Usually pretty mellow, but will become cantankerous at whim. Enjoys meeting new people and trying new things.

Appearance – Tall, thin, scraggly beard, long ear-hairs protruding from wax canals, spry for his age. Walks with a spring in his step.
Equipment – Spoon, magic dust  (gunpowder), several canteens of drinking spirits, Roda tree sapling, Palm Pilot, pocket knife, spearmint extract, dried tea leaves, coffee beans.
HP - 18.5
Moneys - (owes 30 yuan to local flan shoppe)
Skills – sometimes calm in stressful situations. tinkerer. blends into crowds/dungeon walls, able to identify nearly all varieties of moss, cooking oils, tropical plants, and shrubbery. Prolific whittler. Enjoys singing/chanting in caverns/monasteries, but is hopelessly tone deaf. Loves reading.
Biography – lived a full life, until, one day, he realized he never had ventured outside of his hometown. And so, at the age of 75, he set forth...

You will need to make a persuasion roll.  Cavemanese is a difficult language and Bonk may react violently if you don't say it just right.  And since I don't trust you, I'll roll for you!    And since your character is slightly inebriated, you'll have to take a -2 to your roll.  Difficulty of 10

Oh boy
(Bonk looks directly at _joshuaTurbo with a maddening frothing at the mouth glare.  He shouts "DABBA DOOBA!!" and begins to charge!)

@ Esteban - You also notice all of this as you are two seats down from Null's character at the bar.  Do to this loud yelling, you couldn't help but pay attention to the conversation that was exchanged.  Since you have studied many languages in your later years, you could decipher exactly what was said:

Bonk first said "OOGA MOOGA, DABBA DOOBA!" in a conversation starter phrase, which you easily understood as :"I just ate a brontosaurus and I have to crap, can someone please point me to the restroom?"

Then Null's character barked out: "OOGA BOOGA!" in response, which you also understood by the volume that it was expressed as: "This woman is the master of that brontosaurus!  I am offended!  Go to hell!"

When Bonk responded with "DABBA DOOBA!!" you translate that as "Then I will crap on you!  Or "You will become my crap!"

@galam: Your friend at the table says "Here, take this" and flips you a coin as he readies his short sword and starts walking towards the bar.

"Dude! Learn to toss a coin so I can actually catch it.  Damn thing fell in a crack in the floor.  Wait...whats that beneath the boards?"

Name - Landis
Age - 25
Class - Warrior
Personality - Slightly aloof, but friendly when social. Doesn't back down from a fight he sees as important, even if he might have a slim chance at winning. Very heroic when he needs to be.
Appearance - Short, but slightly shaggy brown hair long purple hair, piercing blue eyes, and quite handsome. Looks very strong.
Equipment -

-Magic armor that allows him to shoot projectiles comprised of one of the four elements. The drawback is that switching elements takes intense concentration and therefore cannot be done during combat. It also gives him the power of flight.

-Magic Sword that has the elemental properties that his armor currently uses.

Starting Max HP - 25
Money - 100
Skills - Expert swordsman, high accuracy.
Biography - Three years ago, he saved his homeland of Mystral from the destruction of the evil God, Zaggart, after he was unsealed by a crazed cult. He is the descendant of the legendary hero, Dyu, whom had previously sealed Zaggart long ago. Not much is known about him beyond that, although it is rumored that he might have a girlfriend somewhere.

Additional facts - It is believed by many that Landis is a skilled magic user, however the magic power actually comes from his armor, blessed by the Goddess, Pharina.

One liner - "I applaud your bravery, but don't throw your life away in a fight with me."
