Turbo CD Carrying Case
« on: September 13, 2011, 04:10:29 PM »
I Own a Turbografx16 with a cd unit, and i also have the carrying case.

Does anyone know how your supposed to fit everything into it properly?

As a matter of fact lets make it a competition!

Items to fit:

Turbo CD AC adapter
1 TurboPad
AV Cable
TurboGrafx 16 w/ CD

Bonus Points if you can properly fit:

A TurboTap
additional Turbopads
extension cables

The lid must close easily and not fall open when you let it go!

I'm really curious about the best way to fit this stuff, there just doesn't seem to be any good way to do it.

I would have to say figuring out how to stuff the ac adapter in is the most difficult.

Ac adapter goes in upper left. There's a space for it. You do have to have the original power brick, and the cords need bundled up and tucked outside the box area (If I remember correctly. It' been a long time since I packed my cd setup in the case).
RF adapter goes in upper right. Pads go beside the base unit, I think. I'll double check when I get a chance.

Well, It can be done.

Closed case, no forcing (though I did have a little coercing to keep the pads in place as the lid closed as they want to slide on the TG16)

The easy stuff

Add the Extension Cable

And a Tap

Then not one, but two extra pads

....And I got your six pack (and some extras)

All snugly in place

And yes... all this is inside in the pic of the closed case.

The Radio Shack AC adapter is considerably smaller than the original power brick and allows you to fit more inside the case.

Is that how the original manual said to do it?
