Haven't played Falcon, but it looks really BAD.

It is.

It Came From the Desert

I wish it had stayed there ....
The sequel to Splatter House should be called Circle Jerk.

While it is not the worst game, this title really should have been better. All of the budget went into filming and digitizing the video.

BUT THE SONG--http://junk.tg-16.com/audio/ICFTD/Sea_of_Love_Full_Version_TurboGrafx_CD.mp3
--the song alone saves this title from being the worst game. I'm serious. I love that damn song.

Aww, don't say that.  For what it is (a riff on cheesy b-movies), it's pretty dang good - the only really bad part being the clunky side scrolling bits.

You're absolutely right. I like that song too ... and I hate the side scrolling. The overhead combat in the original version was much better.

Those filmed scenes are soooo cheesy. I'll pop it in occasionally when I want to give my friends a good laugh.
The sequel to Splatter House should be called Circle Jerk.

Funny as this is, my Mom and I used to go to church with Randy Platt, the original programmer for the Amiga version. It was cool knowing a guy that was inot making Video Games back when I was a kid. The guy was cool too and didn't have a big head about it. I remember my Birthday that year, he showed up with "It Came From The Desert" for the Turbo CD, but I didn't have one. Sadly, we went to the store and he got me the NES "Marvel Comics X-Men". Yeah, I felt screwed too because no matter how bad you may think It Came From The Desert was, this game was MUCH worse!
END OF LINE.

I figured I'd resurrect this thread by saying I've spent a couple hours playing Falcon. I'm currently on Mission 9 of 16 and have to say that, after giving it a fair chance, I'm rather enjoying it. Brings back memories of some of the flight sims I played on the computer in the early 90s'. Flight of the Intruder, MiG-29, Corncob 3D, Jetfighter II (my personal favorite at the time), Flight Sim Toolkit, etc. Falcon is definitely not the worst game on the Turbo. Gunboat wins that spot, hands down...

I voted for Ballistix a long while back, but heve never commented b/c I hadn't played all of the games in the poll.

Well Ballistix is pretty bad I think if I would have bought it when i was little as a back of the box purchase (which never would have happened) or someone would have given it to me as a present I probably would have played it and cried.  I can't say anything nice about this game.

However.....

Today I finally played Gunboat for the first time.....

I like the title screen music I wish I would have stopped there.  No wonder it is still so easy to find a new copy.

So it has to be between those two IMO.

All the other games are pretty terrible as well F's or D's on an A-F grading scale with the following exceptions.

I never really gave Falcon a chance or played Impossimole so I don't know about those 2.

Falcon is the current leader so it is possible Ballistix/Falcon/Gunboat are the US holy trinity of awful.

I don't think Ghost Manor(0 votes) or China Warrior are bad enough to be part of the poll.  They have their flaws, but still bring some enjoyment.

Just my 2 cents
Gypsies did it.

Got no luv for the krackers only slugs for the krackers!

Ghost Manor's not the worst game, but holy shit do I ever hate it. I tried so hard to squeeze some enjoyment out of it, but the Chutes n' Ladders style of platforming is just so infuriating.
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

It's Wizards & Warriors with a lame branding.

Absolutely... except the whole "horror" thing could have worked. I honestly believe that.

Falcon and Gunboat often get derided because they are born of a genre that never appealed to mainstream console audiences to begin with! Sure, folks enjoyed this sort of game on the computer, but they had a very small audience on consoles...which is why I wish TTi never bothered with them.

Given time and an open mind, I think Falcon and Gunboat can bring a modicum of happiness to some folks. Personally, I have not wanted to invest the time/energy into these titles.

On the other hand, BALLISTIX WILL NEVER PROVIDE ANY JOY. EVER.
