WTB: Loose Turbo Duo

Since a few members had a good luck in finding a Turbob and I've been waiting for more than one month from a fellow member to close the deal, I decided to ask you to give me one because my profile picture is so awesome!!!! 

Seriously, I'm looking for a Loose US Turbo Duo. I don't need the controllers and all the wires, only the bare console. Thanks for your help.

Yes, someone is already on the case but the problem is hard to find and my friend is working on it part time. That why I'm looking for a new Duo.

ive only seen 1 duo i couldnt fix.
and ive only dealt with the ones others couldnt fix

I know your in canuckland so shipping will cost ya about $20 but something to think about.

Yep, these guys know their stuff.  You can most likely be up and running, at a much cheaper price than buying another Duo, that could also very well have issues if it has not been serviced.

Thanks guys! My friend already talked with someone on the site and he have a clue of what the problem is but he need to find where it is. It's not a simple Duo problem and he repaired a lot of consoles. Also it's the second person that is working on that Duo, the other person wasn't able to fix it.

I really want to play on a US Duo. Thanks for you help.

I'll tell you what I know and I know a very few things about electronics. I bought that Duo in a bundle and I knew it wasn't working, the seller told me. once I got the Duo, i tested it and was really not working . After, I found in the CGCC forum (Canadian VG collector site) a guy that has a shop and was repairing Duos. I sent him the Duo but he was not able to repair it. After that, one guy on the CCJVQ forum (Quebec VG collector site) wanted to repair it, it's like a challenge for him. That guy is now my friend but i see him rarely, we are not living near each other. Ok, now you know the whole story. But what is the $&%$*?%$ problem with my Duo.

We found that the Duo is working partially, if you use the Hu-Card, sometimes we can ear some sounds but not always. There is no image. First, he changed all the caps but the Duo is still not working. He talked with someone on this site, I think he said it was Blue but maybe I'm wrong. That person pointed him in some direction to find the problem. He's drawing the circuits and test the connection at the same time using the tip he got from that guy. He told me that maybe a cap leaked somewhere and damaged one or more connections. He's working on it part time and I let him play it because he really want to fix it.

Now you know all the story. Maybe my Duo is dead, maybe not. I always dreamed to own a US Duo. I have a Japanese Duo that I bought during a trip in Japan but it's not the US Duo I wanted when I was a kid. I hope I have answered all your questions, please help me found one.

Hmmm.... I remember someone saying they were having an issue with no video on a duo.. I suggestedmaking a video probe to trace back the problem.  I don't remember what the outcome was with that unit.

Neoxeno, if you want to send me that duo Ill do my very best to fix it.  No charge.  (Not even return shipping)  worst case, I can't fix it and I send it to thesteve.  If he can't fix it then we know its game over.  Pm me if you are interested.
