Super Famicom Macross Scrambled Valkyrie

Holy snap! I love the HI NRG dance music in this game! Yes, yes, I've read about this game before (as a shoot-em-up fan), but not a single article expressed the supremely awesome early-90's NRG of the tunes.

Cowbells, or not, I have a weak spot for this stuff. It helps explain why I liked a lot of tracks from Exile (TG-CD), too.

:)

Lol, scramble stage 3 is one of my all time fav BGMs on teh SFC and I never noticed the cawbells until now. Can't be. Porbably because they were used to create a simple melody instead of just hitting one tone like a metronome clock generator.

Btw. here a much cleaner record of it :)

Esty, its a must have on teh SFC. If not this, then which?

Even the final battle uses teh cowbell! The Epic-o-meter has ruptured! it even goes great with the background, scrolling at high speed as if the base is crumbling

You speak the truth :)

Because of limited funds, I haven't really explored much of the Superfamicom library.

BUT, I have purchased "must-haves"... so why haven't I grabbed this game. I HAVE NO IDEA.

It looks great.

Okay, I'm now addicted to cowbells. Somebody stop me before I raid the nearest barn.

Sorry, but I don't see your library card on the books of Ys.  Now, RETURN THEM TO ME!!!
