There is something so goddamned elegant and beautiful about this song... the HAUNTING MEDIEVAL CHORUS (are they chanting in Latin? j/k) is so fantastic... with a sitar thrown in for the hell of it (actually, this sitar reinforces the MEDIEVAL-meets-DISCO motif)

Jason Becker was a beast!  His work with David Lee Roth was amazing.  He was already starting to show signs in the studio of his disease and he still rocked the shit out of his guitar.

I'm on my horror on vinyl kick, today I listened to the soundtracks of City of the Living Dead and The Beyond.  It is the right time of year for it.

House By The Cemetery is one if my favorites and Fulci soundtracks typically are fantastic.  I do have a soft spot for Fabio Frizzi especially.

I went American tonight, Phantasm, Frankenhooker, and Basketcase 2.  I see that on Wednesday Mondo is releasing Maniac for $25, that will be the next soundtrack in my collection.
