What do people think of Fausette Amour?  It's the kind of game I like (platform run and jump) but it didn't really impress me.  Maybe I need to try it out again.

I enjoy it reminds me of, Valis but with BionicCommando game play mix in.

Damn, Pocket Reversi for NGPC is a rare/expensive game? Is it just like any other reversi game you see? That's retarded, haha.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Golden Axe for the PCE is the worst port ever made. I think the C64 port was better.

For non-NEC games: how about that crapfest that was Lunar Eternal Blue Complete for the PSX? Wow...what a shitty game. They should have stopped making Lunar at The Silver Star because Silver Star Story was pretty llama as well.

I thought Eternal Blue both for Sega CD and Playstation were pretty cool games.

The Sega CD one was great.  The PSX version was too emasculated for my manly tastes.

The remakes of both games were watered down quite a bit in terms of story and playability. The dungeons got substancially smaller, the overworld map was simplified with no encounters and shrunk substancially, the scenerio changes were really uncalled for. Eternal Blue wasn't messed with in terms of story as much but the gameplay was definitely dumbed down.

Yeah Eternal Blue on Sega CD is one of the best RPGs ever made.   I was really disappointed with the PSX version.

I thought Silver Star Story was great...both versions.  You want a bad Lunar?  Try the newly released DS version...eww...

Back on topic, I don't think Terraforming is that great for a rare title.  Not worth the big bucks, IMO.
Games I Need: Bonk 3 (HuCard), Legend of Hero Tonma, Magical Chase, Soldier Blade, Super Air Zonk.

Got one to sell? PM me!

I actually prefer the PSX versions of Lunar, it's because of those 2 remakes, that it became my 3rd favorite series ever.  And I actually enjoy the later Lunar as well......but, it's not a great game either.  I think maybe the graphics & music are what are holding me on, besides the fact that it is Lunar.  If it were of some random series I'd never played before, I wouldn't bother with it!

I think i already said this somewhere, but Super Air Zonk sucks.

While we're on the subject of Play Station remakes, what do you'll think of R-Types on PS vs. R-Type Complete SCD?

I just got R-Types in the mail today.  It has some pretty sweet intro movie scenes and i like the original music compared to the R-Type complete remixes.  When it comes to gameplay i still prefer the Turbo version.
It's funny, the Playstation version is nice, but it still not that far beyond what the SMS accomplished in 1990.

Saying Super Air Zonk sucks I don't think is 100% of everybody's opinion, I love the game personally, in some ways more then the original, I mainly like the level design better.  The things I wish it had were choices of weapons & paralax, but it's too late for that I suppose

SMS R-Type was awesome, that game spoiled me for most NES shooters for years.  I'd play something like Gradius and be all, "I'm supposed to fight an enemy armada with a .22 pistol?  That's all the enemies they can fit on the screen?  NO GIGANTIC BATTLESHIP LEVEL??!".  Man that was a great port.

I want to try out the Super CD Airzonk because I'm sure I would think it's much better than what people say about it and there was a great review for it somewhere saying how it's not nearly as bad as what people say about it and is even better than the HuCard. I need to pick up the Japanese version sometime.
