Darius Alpha is quite crappy. Compared to the other shooters on PCE.

The worts could be easily NHKs Akinjin Man - Indo no Hono

never seen lower than 2000$ - its a education game for math!
!!! Insanity. Now, if this were strip-math, I could see the appeal (or even monster-math)...

Wait a minute, that's the game with the three cute animal characters right? I remember one of them being a girly mouse. If it's the game I am thinking of that I have played on Magic Engine, then it should be platform based with cute littles animals and I think some mini games every now and then, such as a jigsaw puzzle; seems like it could have been based off of a Japanese children show. Anyways if that's the game, DAMN I had no idea it was so expensive! I actually really enjoy the game!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Nevermind, a checked some minutes ago while checking the name of a PCE game for another post (Outlive :D ). The game I am thinking of is Niko Niko Pun, not the NHK game, which is a ancient Nihon strategy game. It looks like it might be just a little decent if I could understand it better.

Yeah, Niko Niko Pun, absolutly stinks, there's really not much you can do in the game.  Wish I never bought it.

Are you joking or serious?  I beat the game, & it was just plain boring for me, maybe I missed something, I don't know :?

I am dead serious! I love the game! You should know me by now, hehe, I can't help but to love games people classify as garbage :D .

Heh, I thought it was usually me that likes games that others consider garbage.  Hell, it's the same for anything.  For instance, I personally enjoyed Fantastic Four, but soooo many people thought it was horrible, & I can't figure out why!  So, it actually made me go see it again, & I like the movie even more, partially due to other's hating it, & I can't for the life of me figure out why.  Same with Kung Pow(absolute classic), The Incredible Hulk(not the best, but way better then others say it is), etc.  That's why I love Impossamole & other games that people hate, cuz their hate intensifies what I like about that game.  And it's not that I deny quirks in any game or movie, I acknowledge them when I see them, but I still enjoy them around the quirks :D

how can you people say darius alpha is a shit game? it's just not made to play it, so it doesn't count  *hehe* :)

steam hearts is a really crap compared to its price and could only be sold do to its content of harmless nudity cut scenes.

btw: kaze kiri is a famos game, even it's a bit boring.

I can't believe people say City Hunter is crap. I think it's a great game. Same goes for Neutopia 1 & 2. Best RPG's on the system and better than Zelda.

Although the game doesn't use a millionth of the potential of the license, I still enjoy City Hunter. The music is great, what you'd expect from Sunsoft in their day.

Kaze Kiri gets a big "meh" from me...not worth the price tag.

Waterworld for Virtual Boy is hard to get and almost unplayable its so awful.

As far as PC Engine is concerned...Golden Axe isn't rare, but one of the stinkiest piles of dung I've ever set eyes on.

I was very disappointed with Steam Hearts...but I won't sell it ;)

Also, I thought Fray was slightly disappointing as well.
