The Sphinx in the Japanese Version could leave you stuck unless you have the patience to keep trying to answer correctly all 5 questions that he asks you in Kanji.

The internets say the answers are II, I, Right, I, II.  See?  I told you it was good for more than just pr0n!

The answer choices are II, I, and Run (not Right).

I didn't have much trouble answering the Sphinx questions, but I believe that I paid attention to the questions (which I couldn't read, but could recognize), and remembered which answers were right and wrong till I had it down. If I play through it again, I'll take some screen shots and make an answer guide.

That would help so many folks ;)

TANGENT: I want to hear the little tune that is played (by pressing I and Ii buttons) earlier in the game ;)

Anyone have a video of it?

i dont think i'll go the JP route... i usually stick with US titles and im also in the process of collecting them so i'll go toward that cause.

Im not a big fan of virtual console stuff on the wii.. I want to put money into a game that i'll own a hard copy... not having to worry about buying it again

One of my favorite games on the system, definitely worth the Wii Virtual Console purchase.

Especially since you can get a Wii, a Classic Controller, and the game for less than half of the price of the Turbo Duo game.

what happens 3-5 years down the road.. another system comes out... another virtual console.. and you have to buy it all over again. Yea it might be cheaper now.. but i'll add up over time

Definitely a good game. Dynastic Hero is just a re-badged Wonderboy in Monsterworld for the Duo, so if you've played that game, you know what DH is all about. That said, if you already own Monsterworld there isn't a great deal of incentive to pick up DH given its price, except the excellent redbook soundtrack. Beyond that, all the basic gameplay elements are identical, with only a handful of cosmetic differences, such as the aforementioned music and lack of parallax in some areas. What DH lacks in parallax it more than makes up for with its much more vibrant colors.

I couldn't recommend anyone spend $500 on this (or any other game) and keep a straight face, but it certainly isn't a bad game.

yea i definetly agree that $500 is just too insane for a game... maybe if itd be a 1/4 of that price i'll consider it but i dont see that $500 price realistic.. ebay on tg16 stuff is just very bloated and you see the same product over and over again not selling.

Yeah if you really want ti get a game like that, you just have to keep your eyes open all the time, check auctions daily, read forums, etc. Eventually you'll be able to pick it up for less than the inflated eBay value.

...or you can  be like Opethian and check ebay with it spelled wrong. Find it at a $50 bin and score it for the price it was back in the day.  I'm pretty sure that's what happend.  :-k
