I was going to say Pac-Mania, but there apparently was a Genesis version after all.

How about Xybots?  And since the Turbografx could do Order of the Griffin, it surely would have been able to do the Gold Box games, and those didn't get console ports.

Follin did by far the best bionic music ever created. So why not on the PCE as well. Would love to hear him squeezin' the PCE to max level.

Nope! The original NES music was actually the most interesting, IMO. It fit the militaristic theme well, the tunes were well-constructed, and they made great use of the NES sound chip. The Follin tunes were meh, IMO.

PCE Games coundown: 690/737 (47 to go or 93.6% clear)
PCE Shmups countdown: 111/111 (all clear!!)
Sega does what Nintendon't, but only NEC does better than both together!^^

I don't think an average gamer would be wowed by the PSG in comparison to the SNES's sound chip. Most people (ie: not rabid PCE fanboys or retro enthusiasts) will take the SNES chip any day. It can certainly do "stereo effects" just fine, with or without tons of reverb.

So basically it would have to be color intensive (beating the Genesis) and CPU intensive (beating the SNES) to make sense.

Not necessarily. I have always thought that the SNES spunds like shit. I hate the muffled sound the games seem to have. There are a few exceptions to the rule like say, Actraiser, but for the most part, I hate the sound that system throws out.
END OF LINE.

Follin: and
Fujita (original non f*cked Arcade):  (Starts at the song you care about)
Tamiya:

All things considered, the NES is the best one IMO.

and the Amiga is the worst because all of that f*cking stupid slurpyarp crap doesn't fit at all, and seems to be Tim Follin, and other's crutch to making their music "better".

Plus, it uses samples from the C64 version.  This is probably for the best since otherwise it'd probably have sampled guitars.  but, its still a copout.

I would love the arcade version of Time Soldiers (SNK) on our beloved machine.
I love Time Soldiers.  It's one of my favorite SMS games and what I've played on MAME was pretty fun as well.

:) The SMS and MAME can't compare to the fabulous arcade experience with dual rotating joysticks. CONTROLS WERE SOLID and the frenetic shooting was so satisfying.

SONIC CD STOLE THE TIME TRAVELING GIMMICK FROM TIME SOLDIERS. Well, not really.

At least Time Soldiers did the time traveling thing properly.

I want HOGAN'S ALLEY for PCE.

The Amiga and C64 use WAY too much pitch bending, to no real beneficial effect. It's like it's in there simply because it can be, not because it improves the tune any. Yeah, the NES version is the clearest and, I think, fits the militaristic theme the best.

It's the European Demo-Scene music curse.

Arps and bendy crap to simulate Kenny G having a stroke.
