Since someone else has a car avatar I'd figure I'll explain mine...

It's a photo of my 1999 FRC Corvette when I first purchased it. Its 100% bone stock, and with nothing more than some drag radials, it ran a 12.30 at 113.49mph with a 60ft time of 1.78 seconds. Haven't calculated 0 - 60 data from that run, but I'd guess its somewhere in the mid - low 4 second range. Hasn't been on the dyno yet, but most stock 6speeds put down around 300 rwhp. Not too bad for an untouched 14 year old Vette. Mods will be coming soon, as I can't leave anything stock for too long...

Youtube video of my best pass:

VERY IMPRESSIVE for a Stock C5, damn near C5 Z06 Territory.  You have a runner there.

You got lucky that the image host didn't change the image to a Meatspin gif when hotlinked.

NW: Hey, I made it on this psycho's Enemies' List, how about that ?? ;)

BT: Look at how the fake SFII' carts instantly sold out and were immediately listed on eBay before the flippers even took possession. Look at Nintendo's overpriced bricks. Look at the typical forum discussions elsewhere.

Mine is the cover of Download. If you don't know this then why are you on this forum

Dude, hook me up with the VHS Soft Porn copy of "Download" that you used for your avatar....

Favorite bad guys ever from one of my favorite movies!! The Cobra Kai! Sweep the leg!

I was reading a neat article a few months ago about "mis-remembered" famous quotes (from Shakespeare to Karate Kid to Star Wars) and I think "Sweep the leg" is an example of a line that is never actually said, but it captures a key scene in the film, so it persists in the popular collective consciousness.

"Luke, I am your father" is never actually uttered, either.

Crazy, huh?

I haven't seen Karate Kid for ages, I gotta watch it with my daughter. We attempted to watch it a few years ago...but she was too young to understand the TRUE GLORY of the film.

I don't think I ever told you, but that cookie rules and is TOTALLY WORTHY of avatar status. Seriously.

BEEMER STILL HAS THE COOKIE. For real.

HAHAHA that Luke I am your father is quite often misqouted.  However this line is said in a fairly popular movie

This is probably what has kept it misqouted for so long. :)

I think that's one of the reasons the show is so popular. As horrific as it can be, there is an element of truth that everyone can relate to. It's awesome. :)
