Western Burbs of Chicago here.

when is the next one going to be.. need to plan ahead to take the time off from work.

Hey Retrocool, make sure you save this date: Saturday July 14th. There will be an EPIC turbo meetup at the Video Game Summit in Lombard. If there are anymore before then, I'll let you know. :)

SignofZeta: What a quintessentially PCEFX thread. Someone complains about nothing, multiple Bible-length posts discussing who's a bigger a$$hole follow. You're both pretty big a$$holes. Let's call it a tie.

Anybody else near Wichita, ks? Would love to meet up and play some turbo's. I only meet one other person here whose into pc-engine but haven't ask him to meet up. I think it would be gay just asking a stranger if his wants to basically go on a turbo grafx date, heheh:)

I think he is too scared to ask you to go on said turbo grafx date.  You should make the first move.

Forsyth County, NC.
OBEYing in Winston since 1990!

Animazement in Raleigh is PCEFX friendly. This year, the gameroom will have even MORE Turbo goodness.

I have some friends in the triangle (is that the same as the triad?) but they do not OBEY.

Triad = Winston-Greensboro-High Point.
Triangle = Raleigh-Cary-(Mur)duham.

Only an hour and a half away for each other.

That sounds great but, unfortunately I only have the ten toes transport right now.
It would be nice if there were some kind of shuttle bus that would go around picking up gamers to take to gatherings and conventions.

Ha! I'll be camping in the mid-coast this July. Boothbay area. Family and friends love biking on the coast and seeing the lighthouses and stuff.

Not sure if I'd be able to make any time for TG-16, but there's always a slim chance :)

Wow thats awesome! :) I'm in Wiscasset, which is 10-30 mins from Boothbay, depending on how far into Boothbay you go. Traffic in July can be a nightmare over here. Don't know if you've visited the area before, but hope you guys have a good time! I'll have some 2 Player Monster Lair waiting for ya if you make it over ;)

Ha! We go every year. I used to go further north (Bar Harbor, Acadia, Bangor, Canada), but this is plenty north for me, now.

Sounds like we are going to have to play some Monster Lair! :)

That's one part of the country (and Canada) that I absolutely love.  Its so pretty up there on the Maine / New Brunswick coast!

Heck yes. Gorgeous. Well, Bangor isn't nearly as gorgeous. I prefer the coastal areas. :)

Agreed, Been to Bangor once and that was enough for me. The coast is nice, farther north you go the more backwoods/redneck/deliverance you get. Towns and roads don't have names the closer to Canada you are :P.
