So...what does one actually do with these? IIRC they aren't actually capable of containing the game like a SGX or Disney DVD so...are you going to re-shrinkwrap your game inside of it or something? Or just...file it away somewhere? You can't fit it inside like an obi. I don't get it.

Uh, I dunno, I wrap it around the game and stick it on the shelf with the rest of my games. I guess it's probably on par with a box, which I think is stupid, but for whatever reason I like the sleeves.

Yeah it has no use at all, except for a very small bit of cool as i have never seen the sleeve... its like the paper work that is found in the glove compartment of your miata or any car, some of it is of no use but cool it is there. <<shrugs>>

The sleeves were Vic's attempt to introduce spine card to America. Or maybe he was unhappy with the absence of boxes. Or maybe he didn't want advertising on the back of the jewle case . They ended up more like dust jackets, but they were wrapped around the jewel cases in every shrinkwrapped copy of vasteel and exile 2
The sequel to Splatter House should be called Circle Jerk.

Oh know what they are. I used to own Exile 2 US. They make perfect sense at the point of retail.

@SignOfZeta, I use double-CD bags for a lot of my JP games with spinecards so I just did the same with my copy of Vasteel.  Put the game with the sleeve around it in the bag and it holds the whole thing together nicely, when I want to play the game just unseal the bag and slide the game out.  Works like a charm and ties the whole thing together nicely.  :)

But it isn't complete, it's fake.

Where do you get those? Have any extras of the double CD for sale? I saw some on ebay I think but it has been a while.

Only if I think something is stupid.

Using a Seal King bag didn't occur to me though. I have a lot of stuff in those. That's about the only way to make use of one of these weird WD cardboard things though.

I got my bags off of eBay a year ago maybe?  I bought a lot of like 100 of them (since that was the smallest amount), but if you're interested in some shoot me a PM and we can figure something out.  The only thing that's a bit weird about them is the case goes in through the top, not the side, so the seam is visible on the edge where the text is.

Here's a pic of my Vasteel with the Working Designs sleeve in the baggie.  It's a bit tight with everything, but not too bad.
