I'm sarching for a Zero4Champ Guide. Does anyone have or knows something like that?

I have a lot of troule playing the game since I have problems accelerating at the right time. Especially since I don't know the driving physics of each car.

I need to get that game, it's pretty sweet. I don't know of any guides, sorry.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

This is a CD game, correct? I have it but I don't think I've ever played it for more than a few minutes (got it as a freebie).

I'll give it a whirl in a day or two and see if I have any luck. Unfortunately, I think I'll end up asking you more questions than I'll be able to answer :)

The original is a HuCard game and there is a sequel for CD, which I haven't played. Anyone who has played the CD one, how is it? Expensive?

Both parts are quite cheap here in Japan.
I got a brandnew engine and a new muffler and my car rocks

its cool that a PCE-racer is more fun to play than NfS etc

Isn't the whole game about some sort of dragster races? I played ZeroForChamp2 several years ago when I originally bought it, but I just can remember that the race track is just plain straight and it was all about dragster.

Yeah the ones I played were all drag racing games and they sucked ass pretty bad.  Everything up until the actual racing was cool, but as soon as you got to the track it's "UGH this game looks like shit!  It's all drag racing?  What a gip!".

Don't play it for NASCAR racing or any shit like that, play it FOR drag racing. This game could easily turn off racing fans, but for people who want something laid back and into simulation/digital comic games, it's great. Totally 80's game too, I love it.

My qoute man! It sure isn't GT4 or NfS, but thats not the kind of racing game you should expect. Together with the tuning and the rpg-elements itq quite fun to play.

And don't forget! Its a HU-Card!

Keranu, you and Yamazaki have actually got me interested in this game. You're right, play it FOR drag racing :)

Ahh, I have the CD... I wonder if there's much difference between them. I'll give you folks a run-down of the CD version in a few days.

Please do so because I don't know if I have ever seen a review or anything for the CD one. I saw some screenshots for it before and it looked kinda cool because they had realstic photos of cars.
