I had two converter boards... gave one away though.  I keep the other for when I test systems and want to use an arcade card or something on a non modded system.  Otherwise it doesnt get normal use.

Why would anyone even want a converter that sticks out that far? It just looks so, breakable. With all of the PC-Es and Cores floating around at such reasonable prices and reasonable modification prices done by people here, I just don't see why anyone would feel the need for a converter.

I got my orange Kisado Converter from TZD back in the mid 90's.  That thing is super f*cking durable.  No way in hell it's ever gonna break.  Unless I really really try.  In a Duo it doesn't stick out that far.  I got it free with an import game.  Some deal they were doing at the time.  I kept it cause I just didn't want to buy another system for import games.  It was a time when the converters were cheaper than the systems.  how the times change.

I think its more for the sake of collecting and bragging rights than it is to use the thing, in most cases.

Collecting cut rate unofficial garbage, bragging rights...about what? It's. Piece of crap. There is more engineering integrity in a PS controller from Naki. It's junk.

You could use 1 converter on 3 different systems (Turbob Express, Turbob 16, and Turbob Duo) rather than having all 3 systems modded at $50-60 each (average price for a region mod).

Agreed.  If I didn't already have one, I'd rather buy one for ~$70 than pay more to mod both the Duo and the 'Express (or buy a PCE Duo).

I could understand if it were the short one but, the long one, I just can't imagine what that would be like sticking out of an express.

yeah but can't you just buy a DUO-R or DUO-RX and call it a day?

lol, it would look like one of those portable NES things. Huge-ass game sticking out of the back. The game bigger than the system. lol

Wait... Wait just a minute. Did you say he was selling it somewhere else cheaper?
And now he's offering it up over here for a higher price and he's and he's a great guy?
Am I missing something here?
