What is the highest amount of money you would ever pay for a Turbo game? What game would that be? Why?

It can be a HuCard or CD.

Less than £50.  And that's for Dracula X and Rainbow Islands, complete with spine.
I've seen Rainbow Islands for £35 with no spine, but it means I'm constantly searching for bargains.  It could happen one day.

I would also say, that one day I would like to own a complete collection of games and Core consoles (I.E. not laserdisc players or that crazy monitor), so basically...  Yeah I need to win the lottery.

Same here.  Right now I'd say the most I'd pay is $200 for Bazaru de Gozaru, but I'm sure I could be talked into buying any of the pricey US titles or the legitimately rare PCE titles if the price were right.
U.S. Collection: 98% complete    157/161 titles

I've always kept a 5/10/15 range for US Hu's. Common trash is $5(Deep Blue, China Warrior), something good but common is $10 (Blazing Lasers, Alien Crush, Legendary Axe) and the goodies are $15 (Military Madness, Soldier Blade). Never cared about box and even the case is 'meh for something I really want. Of course I'll take the case when available but a Hu being loose does not stop me from buying.

Japanese stuff varies but $15-20 for good shit is my range (TwinBee, Salamander). I don't even bother with random JP Hu's that just plain suck...I'll take it for free just to raffle it off.

CD's? Well, tricky since I pretty much bought all of the games I ever wanted. Back in the 90's I'd go $40-50 for the top titles (Y's, Star Parodier, Cotton). I think I dropped $80 for Dracula. If CD games popped up on a FS: thread at a cheap price (L-dis unopened for $10 for example) I would bite.

$20,000 for a new MIB mint-seal sealed Gold Youkai Douchuki.

Add another $30,000 if it's VGA graded 7+.

Make it an even $100,000 if it's a VGA 10.0.

If it's signed by a member of the development team, $2000 tops. What a waste of perfectly good  sealed collectible.

If it's used/open, I won't buy it for any price, because I only collect complete sets of graded sealed games.*

If I am not allowed to let anyone know that I have it, that's a deal breaker too. Otherwise, what's the point of collecting?

*The only exception I make is for rare unreleased prototypes that nobody else has, like PC Cocoron. If it's a game PCE fans would want to play and it's the only copy in existence, then I will pay any price to  have it exclusively to myself and will make sute it never gets ripprd, copied, etc as long as I live. Otherwise, what's the point of obtaining and ultra exclusive game unless I get to hold it over the heads of other people?

I wouldn't go over 40 for DE2 and even then, it would have to have the manual, spine insert and next to no scratches.

Hu wise, I wouldn't go over 50 if even that for a near mint MC.

May sound wack but, paying bills comes before paying obscene amounts just so I can say "Look what I have!"

I don't collect for anyone but me.  Actually sometimes I get duplicate games for multiplayer (Gameboy) or games I think my friends will enjoy playing, but for the most part I don't really tend to boast much.  I look at my collection and it gives me a warm feeling inside that only material posessions can give.

Generally speaking, $50 - maybe up to $80 in extreme circumstances. It would have to be a great game though and one that I would play extensively. It would also have to be genuinely rare, complete and in mint condition. With that said, spending that much money on a single game is something I seldom do.

I receive more pleasure actually playing games rather than keeping them in an air tight vacuum, within a fireproof container 10 feet underground.

I also don't spend large sums of money on obscure hardware that will never get used. On a similar note, failed consoles really don't grab my attention unless they're reasonably priced. I laugh and swallow vomit when I see Nintendo collectors spending hundreds of dollars on Pokemon crap, or a mint poly bagged copy of anything with Mario in it lol.

Are we talking about US games? $15 for Soldier Blade seems wildly optimistic to me. If not, I'll gladly take your US Soldier Blade off of your hands for $30, you can buy a new copy for $15 and make yourself a nice little profit. :D

Well, I'd have to have that new copy in my hands before I'd let go of the other one and since mine was bought from TZD, it has a certain sentimental value so, I doubt I'd be giving it up any time soon.

I don't think that depends on me. Besides the little money amount I have to spend in games, consoles, etc. I have to wait an affordable price on EBAY.
which it's the only place where I can buy them.

It's surprising how many say that they wouldn't pay retail prices in threads like this but get all excited over the prices in old catalog scans.
