That was a great read, thanks for posting the link!  I always felt Hotel Dusk felt familiar and even mentioned the similarities to JB Harold in my written amateur review of the game at the time.  Anyway I see there is a version of Murder Club for the MacOS and iOS devices.  It's $12.99 for the Mac version.  The description says English and Japanese text, but the screenshots show only Japanese and I cannot copy the text from the Mac App Store to translate it to see if it can be switched.  The graphical style is exactly like the iOS version of Manhattan Requiem I have.

EDIT:  Fired off an e-mail to Althi to find out if there will ever be an English version of Murder Club for Mac OS X/iDevices

I agree with Joe, that was a nice article to read. I had no idea that the J.B. Harold series had made it to the DS and iOS (let alone OS X).

I am grabbing "Murder Requiem" and "Kiss of Murder" for my phone/iPad right now.

"Kiss of Murder" has no option for English, but since it is an expansion of Requiem (a lot of assets are recycled from Requiem), I might be able to blunder through it. "Kiss" is more interesting (visually) than "Requiem" because "Kiss" pans  horizontally/vertically over photographs, whereas "Requiem" simply displays static shots. "Requiem" also (it seems) uses a greater number of photos/images, which helps create a more immersive setting and atmosphere. Still, you can't help but laugh when you see the disparate stock photos that have been "modified" and stitched together to create the world of J.B. Harold .

Kiss of Murder:

Manhattan Requiem:

NOTE: If you search "althi", you'll be able to find all of the J.B. Harold games for iOS.

I haven't decided if I'll complete "Requiem" before playing "Kiss", or if I'll play them in tandem, but I really wish there was an English language option for "Kiss"!
