Are you talking about the marks that show up on the backs of the carts after lots of use?

I don't know that I've ever heard of anyone that actually cared about that, but if you're really worried I don't see why you couldn't put a thin piece of paper or plastic or something on top of the ridges in the cart slot on your console.

It seems like more trouble than it's worth though, frankly. Do you spend a lot of time looking at the backs of your HuCARDs?

Yeah, it's like the bottom of your shoes; they're just going to get dirty. I guess you could be sure insert the card slowly and carefully rather than ripping out it out quickly, but if you really want a minty look copy, buy one new/sealed copy for collecting and one for playing if really bothers you.

It is basically the gameboy deal. You can tell when somebody has broken one in. Honestly if their was no marks, then the game would probably never stick in. The same with any cart system game.

I do not really care anymore, let live or let die. If a PC hu-card never wanted to see any marks, then it should have never been taken out it's wrapper to being with.

Would you run the risk of loosening any connections this way? I'm sure if you're very gentle it would be OK but it seems like this would put some strain on your system or the card itself if you really crank it up.

No need of cranking it up like a beast, just like a 0.5mm gap already shows wonders. Sure same goes for the card rejection. I doubt this will hurt the systems connectivity in the upcomming 327 years.

Thanks for the responses.  I guess I will stick with the slight inclination method.  Neogeo.com? Ha my neo geo carts actually have marks too, but they are not as ugly as the ones on the hucards .  Just want to keep them HUs in good shape...

I usted to do that but it became so unfun when I wented threw like five games and it took minutes. You should rename this thread "deflowering hu-cards" is it worth it, or should I leave them in the wrapper and pray to god.

This thread is funnier if you do teh fortune cookie thing, like where you put "in bed" at the end of every fortune, only change Huey or Card to penis.

Oh, hey, there you go has anyone thought of putting baby oil on the bottom of their cards?
