TG-16 CD Backups
« on: February 27, 2012, 04:35:12 PM »
been reading up on a bit on how to properly back up these great games, and i have read that i need to use 650 mb CDRs, but also some threads that swear by silverback 700mb CDRS. can it damage my system to use the 700mb CDRS? i plan to buy some high quality media and an old writer that burns really slow, but it's easier to get high quality media in the 700mb variety. thanks for the help!

You will find a wild array of opinions on this topic. both sides swearing for and against using cdr's. I use cdr's, have been for awhile and never had a problem. I burn to 700mb discs and the slowest speed possible just to be on the safe side. another member told me that as long as you use silverback cdr's and not the black ones you will be all set.
