^^^ That reminds me of one of the better videos to come out of the Spoony Experiment. Sega CD FMV Hell.

Anyway, I could never get into Robo Aleste. I found Spriggan on the PCE-CD to be so superior that I almost can't play it. I might be missing something, though.

Keio is my personal favorite. There's heaps of personality, very good production, and a good deal of playability balanced with challenge toward the end.

What I really wan to know is what the best FMV game for sega cd was. For me it's a tie between Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch or Kriss Kross Make My Video
I remember playing RDF Global Conflict and liking it. I have not played it since it's release and I fail to find vid's of it ATM. I'm kinda pissed I passed up on it at MAGFest, maybe a dealer at MGC will have a copy.

"Best FMV game for XXXXX" is kinda like saying "what is the best smelling turd"? It's all shit...it more of what is the less sucky.

Fox Hunt from Capcom was somewhat enjoyable. It was entertaining and played quite differently from other FMV games. I also got a small kick out of Corpse Killer as well (Sega Saturn version is a bit better than the previous ones). Not great games by any means though.

wtf Silpheed haters.

I like Silpheed, just not as much as Keio or Android Assault.

Poor Bari-Arm is definitely underrated.  Plus it was cursed with such a boring name change in the US to "Android Assault".  People were still reeling from Butt Hole errr I mean Black Hole Assault.  I don't know if Bari-Arm is the best shooter, though.  I recall it being kind of easy but I may be remembering a different game.

I vote for the shooter you can play in the Adventures of Willy Beamish.
According to Wikipedia it's called Super Space K'Noidtrix.

Seriously though, that blew me away when I first played it... I mean, I was playing a game INSIDE A GAME.

Or maybe it was just because it was more fun than playing Willy Beamish.

That should be categorized as the best Nintari shooter.

Hyperion doesn't count but even if it did it is bested by all other games in this poll.
