Homemade TurboGrafx LT
« on: March 16, 2012, 05:02:36 AM »

Linky

Steampunk-ish style!  Rather clunky and not exactly gonna fit in your pocket (assuming you're not wearing parachute pants), but it's still damned cool.  Did anyone here make or buy this thing?

It says it's no longer available because the seller ended the listing.   I wonder if he gave up on getting 425$ for a giant wooden LT, lol.

Someone was showing this in shoutbox when it was still an active auction.  I thought they linked to the guy who made it's site.

While it's not really to my taste, he's done a good job.  But I doubt anyone would pay that.  That Neo Geo however... that's stunning.

There was a dude at the autoshow a few years ago, he made working wooden cars that were replicas of real cars.

He had a Jeep , all wood.

Was pretty awesome, but seemed like a bad idea to drive around lol

LMAO, yeah not a great idea.  Let's hope he never thought to make a Camero: http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/off-topic/113720-new-camaro-recalled-fire-hazard.html

I love it! Sure it is clunky, but it is sweetness (the TG-16 logo is probably burned-in? That's wicked sweet.)

I can't seem to stop laughing at the mental picture I now have of a guy driving a jeep made entirely of wood.

There is also a portable Saturn that must be made by the same guy. The Saturn car logo on top is hilarious!
