« on: November 03, 2005, 03:45:27 PM »
Looking for complete RED songs from Lords of Thunder, Etc.  Did they ever make rock albums?  Where can I get them?

Thanks!

The band behind Red's soundtracks was T's Music. I think it was a Hudson in-house group.

those guys were some talented bastards!!

if you liked Lords and Gate you should check out the music from a PC game called Jets n' Guns.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I just played that Jets n' Guns demo about an hour ago and that game is BADASS! The first level song sounds a little similar to the first level in Gates of Thunder. I might have to buy the full version sometime since it's pretty awesome.

Red isn't a band, its a huge group of various creative people who are responsible, in one form or another, for everything from Bonk to Sakura Wars. The art, the story, the music, etc.

Also, T's music isn't really a band either. Its a music company. They've done stuff that isn't even slightly metal. They are contractors.

If you like LoT music this much, I recommend any number of actual metal bands who's sound inspired the LoT sound. Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Man O War, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian, etc etc.

I actually made a custom soundtrack version of LoT a while back with actual bands replacing the original music. Somebody here must have it. I called it, Whole LoT of Metal: The Lords of Thunder Remix, or something like that.

I believe that T's Music even did the music for the NES version of Bonk's Adventure, just to give you an example of their....range.

They did some conversion work.  Wani Wani World on the Mega Drive too, for example.
