They wouldn't sell it to you?  You can't mean that, that's no way to run a business.

Also, Hit Japan nearly always accept 75% of the BIN price.  In my experience.

Well with old and used systems you come to expect a little wear and tear. Not saying you should sell defective merchandise knowingly, but some people don't care if the system has a few scratches or discoloration.

Sounds like Hit Japan is pulling shenanigans.  Someone else on these forums reported buying a defective item from them, paying return shipping, and seeing their relatively rare item (or one that looked exactly the same) being relisted.  I'll look for the post; it was sometime within the last two years.

I can understand people jumping to their defense - I buy from them too.  They have reasonable prices, fast shipping, and I've also found that they're always willing to come down a bit with a BO, but this isn't the first time we've heard these complaints.

I bought the Terraforming in that auction.  The copy I got was perfect, and plays fine.  I've never had issues with them, even when I recieved a cracked CD game.  They just sent me a replacement game in its place.

Btw after pushing hard enough he did agree to want to pay for shipping back as you can see in the conversation below. however I am just doing it to show that he outright refused to replace it. which is a bummer.

The card you sent me is broken. I have another arcade card pro which loads sapphire with no issue. The one that you sent me crashes as soon as sapphire or any arcade pc engine game starts (graphics gets glitchy or it downright freezes.) is there any way I can have this replaced?

actually do you not have any replacements in stock? I would rather get it replaced. I still kind of need an arcade card.
if it is for a replacement I would not mind sending it back. otherwise I personally dont see why I should get penalized with paying even more (for shipping in this case) for sending it back all the way to japan. If you do not I will just leave the transaction as is but in the end this was very dissapointing

I recently bought a few items from them, a junk cd-rom unit, fatal fury special and world hero's 2. I received the package yesterday but world hero's was missing. However i got the cd-rom unit working so i think i got a good deal. Sent them an email but haven't received a response. I ordered from them many times before. This is the first time I have a problem with an order.

I think HitJapan is great. Over half my collection came from him. I had maybe one or two very small issues which he resolved quickly. He has decent prices. I would not hesitate to order again from him.

Im am positive that once they got yours, they would have sent another out.  I have literally never had a bad dealing with them.  Not saying there has not ever been bad dealings tho.
