Turbo TC"1" is actually PCE TC 2 with the "II" taken off the title screen.

I know. My sarcasm often gets lost somewhere in cyberspace...

Alien Crush has some of the best graphics that will ever grace a game.

I love the song that plays when entering high scores in Alien Crush. GODDAMN! I would purposefully not hit "end" just so I could listen to the song as long as possible.

FACE did actually start development on Time Cruise (1) for the PCE and showed it in Feb. 1990:

It had countries as its theme, apparently.  Who knows why they cancelled it and started on the apparently blander TCII instead...

If only the unused Time Cruise 1 content was included as a hidden bonus in Time Cruise II (PCE)!!!!

That would have been wonderful.

This one is so hard. Both are amazing and my faves of the "Arcade Action Pinball" genre that no one seems to use anymore. Pinball of the Dead for the GBA seems to be the last, and amazing, game in the genre. However, Alien Crush is like the first I remember ever playing. Really, there does need to be a "Both" option because both games really have their own merits. I do like the fact that Alien Crush is a Turbo exclusive though, unlike Devils.
END OF LINE.

I have to say I agree.  Sometimes I lose my ball just cuz I was tryikng to look at the backgrounds and not keep an eye on the ball itself.  lol

While I enjoy playing Devil's Crush a lot more overall, Alien Crush looks f*cking great in pictures. I still remember the Turbo Express magazine ad with an Alien Crush screenshot on the monitor. Who wouldn't want to play that combination of Turbo Express and Alien Crush? That looked like a Ferrari in a fleet of schoolbuses.

Are you thinking of Devil's Crush/Dragon's Fury?

Oh wait.  I thought he meant Turbo exclusive as in US only release.  I meant Alien Crush was released in Japan (PC Engine) too.

I guess he means it wasn't released on the Genesis or whatever.

Yeah, at the end he said "unlike Devil's". Personally, I'd love a low res Genesis port of Alien Crush. It's perfectly suited for color compromising and would still look great. It would be cool to hear renditions of the bgms that were handled at least as well as Dragon Fury's.

My vote goes to alien crush, i used to spend hours playing that game, i had crazy high scores. IMO Devils crush wasn't that good, i played it a few times, never really got into it. Alien crush is better because it really tests your reflexes, it faster paced, more action and more fun.

Back in the day (1996 or 97) I got what I thought was a "super high score" in Alien Crush. I filmed the high score screen with my video camera (back when they still actually used tapes) to save it for posterity. Well, I came across that video tape within the past year. I really should find that part on it and convert it to a digital image and post it up here. I'm not sure if the "super high score" is in reality really all that high. I was still a teenager in high school at that point (probably stoned) and my skillz then weren't what they are today.

I could not vote for one because, as several sagacious folks have already pointed out, Alien Crush is no slouch and is a gem of its own.

I used to think that Devil's Crush was superior, but, recently, I've loved alternating between the two.

Yeah, it's hard to choose but Devil's Crush is such an amazing game. Love everything about it, including the theme, mini-games, music, graphics, control... wow! Alien Crush is also awesome, but for me I've spend the most time with DC and it's the number one pinball game on the PCE for me!

I vote Jaki Crush.

...NOT!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Why is this even an issue?  Everyone knows Crüe Ball is the best.
