Do you guys have the soundtrack for Cadash by any chance?

I have the soundtracks for Dracula X and Parasol Stars that I can offer if needed.
1 title needed for a complete US Turbo Grafx collection: Magical Chase

Parasol Stars High Score = 119,783,770

Hey Paranoa,  I don't remember if I PM'd you or not.  It wasn't until recently that I found out in my profile settings I can automatically save every outgoing PM, so before then my records are pretty spotty. It wouldn't surprise me if I just posted in your thread and left it at that though. :D No biggie.  I hope I didn't come across as speaking down about you - that wasn't my intention.  I really appreciate all you've done.

I think between you, me and esteban, we can work out a really cool system to have these hosted all the time and freely available.  I can spend some time in the evenings updating tag info, but it would be great if we could get a couple volunteers as well.

Since yesterday I've had roughy half a dozen people create accounts and about 20 downloads so far, so there appears to be some interest in this.

No worries, I didn't take it that way.:)

Cadash is right here

Thanks for the site, I downloaded some Dragon Spirit and Super Star Soldier for old time sake.

You might want to check out my Super Star Soldier, as it includes no less then 7 remixes done by Hudson, & I believe 1 (professionally made) fan track that I was able to track down!  I don't know if my chiptunes are better or not, they sound nice & clean, might be worth checking them out, but here's the link for the entire she-bang!

Also, I believe I have the arcade version of Dragon Spirit.  And as for Cadash, I may have not only the arcade version, but also a version where I combined the arcade & Turbo version.

P_D, check your PM. We have to get you uploading to tg-16.com so you (and fellow tg-16 members here) don't have to worry about filefactory/megaupload/crap.com!

I've made a big update to the site this morning.  All of the soundtracks are now hosted at tg-16.com so a huge thank you goes out to esteban!  Also, I've added 9 more soundtracks (some real gems!) bringing the total available up to 34!  More are in the works.

Read more about the update and the new soundtracks here: http://turbomusic.risemedia.org/9-more-soundtracks-added/

And I have done...........nothing!  I've been extremely preoccupied with life, as well as making music for Jungle Bros., & I have both this, & the Ys 4 dub I need to work on!  Patience people!

Question roflmao , are you including the chiptunes with the soundtracks(like in Ys 1 & 2)?  Also, when we have all our stuff up on tg16, should we have mutiple versions are soundtracks, or should be eventually narrow everything down to 1 soundtrack for any games where there's multiple contributers?  I have some interesting stuff in some of my soundtracks that I include, that can't be found easily(tg16 remixes I've discovered, & some I've made myself), not to mention chiptunes from cd games. :-k

Would it be possible to include the HES files on your site as well? With Kaminari's site gone, it's hard to find a host with a full set of HES rips.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I sure can relate.  I didn't know when I was going to be able to get to updating the site, but an opportunity unexpectedly appeared, so I took it!  Who knows when I'll next get to the site... :P

I'm open to suggestions on how to categorize the files.  The files can be tagged, so we can get pretty creative with the categorization. One of these days I'll update it so they are at least broken down by chiptune / redbook.  I'd also like to make the files searchable by either the US title or the PCE title and have them broken down into TG16 / PCE.

I think if we have different versions of the same game, we should keep your copy. :D  My copies don't have any extras; they're pretty barebones.

It took a while for me to appreciate Cadash but it does have some great melodies in there..

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I'm planning on taking this site offline this weekend.  It'll be down for awhile until I get around to upgrading my web hosting account to allow for more resources.  And the site needed a lot of attention and wasn't getting it. :)

All of the files are actually stored at tg-16.com (thanks to esteban!) so they should still be accessible in case anyone wants them in the future.

I just updated the original post with direct links to each of the soundtracks found on TurboMusic. The files are stored at tg-16.com so even though the site will be down, you'll still have access to the soundtracks. :)

Plus, I'm working on a nice "front end" web interface for folks who want to explore (& download/browse) all these tracks (and more!!!)

Stay tuned...

http://archives.tg-16.com/music_database_test.htm

I have not added roflmao's files yet (I will!)

So far, the files on the test page are from Paranoia_Dragon (the quality, tagging, etc. might suck...I haven't really investigated them)

roflmao, if you can tell me about the quality of sound/meta data of your files...they might be better than P_D's (I'll offer both, regardless, so folks can choose)...
