Didn't see where this had been answered.  I noticed the box also had Power VR on it, so I'm assuming this was an NEC PC video card?  One of the very very early 3D video cards before ATI (AMD) and nVidia cornered the market.  Couldn't find a picture of that exact box, though, so I'd be very curious to know the story behind it as well... am I on the right track, or is this a VR headset for Falcon & Gunboat? It is the pc video card of nec. It was used later on the dreamcast :)
It was very powerful at that time!
