I do recall a few years back someone had an Off the Wall proto, & I think they even showed a video of it.

I wish that one would get dumped.  Check out some pics over at the Archives:

You & me both.  If anything, I'd worry about that proto getting destroyed in a fire or just plain not working anymore, & then "poof", it's gone with the wind.  Really, same goes for any proto, PC Cocoron comes to mind.  Anyways, that's my excuse for why I want people to dump proto's that probably cost them $1000 or more to aquire, if only to preserve the game forever in the community.

There was a video? I think I have a video of the game in action.

Yeah, I remember a video on youtube, but I can't find it anymore.

I always wanted Pit Fighter for the TG(both Hu & CD versions from what I recall), even though the game is trash, there are still far worse games.  Plus, who knows, maybe Tengen would've made an adventure mode as a bonus :D  But yeah, Rampart, or maybe Toobin, 720', or even Paperboy would've been MUCH better!  Though, I think the only other Tengen games known about were Marble Madness & Peter Packrat IIRC.

BTW, in that article, I noticed a flaw.  You state that Radiance only made Sidearms(well, atleast puplished), but they also developed Talespin & Darkwing Duck!  Such a glaring mistake cannot go unpunished!  Also, I might mention, Accolade was responsible for Turrican, Gunboat, AND both versions of Jack Nicklaus Turbo Golf!  For shame Esteban, for SHAME!!

Aha! Thank you so much for pointing out these mistakes!

I'll have to fix that!  .

Thanks again. That's why I ask for folks to correct errors they see on any page .

Anyone know how much Off The Wall sold for in 2005?  Who bought it?

Pit Fighter would have been awesome.  Was it actually shown running on TG16 hardware at some point?

I don't remember how much it sold for, but methinks Thibaut bought it (clicky).

Thibby speaks English quite fluently, but that doesn't necessarily mean it was him.  Still, there can't be all that many proto copies of Off the Wall running around.

Well, Off The Wall is a cool find nonetheless, now we just need Arkhan to do repros on his new hucards.

However, Pit Fighter is the true TG16 holy grail (nevermind Bonk RPG or Strider).

I believe, with all my heart, that one day I will be able to play PC Cocoron.

Seriously.

Now, I might have to sell my soul to LucyFur in order to achieve this, but I'll do it.
