That's pretty much how I am with RPG stuff.  I pick it up mainly cause it's fun to read and tinker with (I like going through the character creation process when I get a new RPG - some are a lot of fun.  I'm looking at you T.M.N.T.)  I used to play D&D 4e through a meetup.com group locally, but stopped going because I never knew who was going to show up.  Playing with a bunch of random strangers doesn't lend itself well to roleplaying, imo.

I've quite a few books, music cds, and dvds, but I don't know if I'd call myself a collector.

Besides video games, I collect TMNT and Elm Street stuff. But that doesn't stop me from picking up other things from my childhood. I've got a shelf of Puppet Master Replicas and also some comic books. It gets pretty expensive but you gotta be smart about it.

Mainly just videogames.  Sega stuff is my main focus with PC Engine being the next big system I like to play on.  I also collect a lot of Working Design memorabilia.  If I find Nintendo stuff cheap I'll jump on it as well, but I'm not as big a fan.

I do collect coins as well a bit, but they are a bit pricy right now with commodities being as high as they are.

I collect anything related to the D&D Greyhawk setting. Also CD's from a few of my favorite bands (Nick Cave, Cranes, UK Subs). I've gone out of my way to pick up almost all of the RPGs on the NES, but I wouldn't call myself a "collector" because I haven't put much effort into it and I don't care about boxes. I would like to get some of the 3rd party hint books though.

I used to collect comic books, also laserdiscs. However, as space to store things has become an issue for me, I buy less and less stuff. I do buy DVDs, HD-DVDs and Blu-Rays, but only "collect" particular series of movies, TV shows and such.

Beside video games&anime well some times and it used to be manga to.If any thing that's it,though one of these days maybe transformers.Given how much hasbro/takara has been doing reissue of G1's transformers beside the masterpiece editions.

As for movies&tv shows on dvd/bluray not so much lately since space is becoming a problem.

... arcade games.
I obtain arcade machines, mostly late 80's and 90's (think Street Fighter 2, Final Fight, Neo-Geo). Love the Japanese style "candy" cabs. I've got 13 in my garage ATM, a couple of WIPs. I love to fix up and repair them since they are simple to work on. I take them to conventions and tournaments in the southeast.

I'm looking at you T.M.N.T.
Blast from the past! I did some campaigns with those (Palladium, right?). I got bored of the TSR stuff, always looked to alternate pen-n-paper RPG's plus TMNT hype was in full effect back then.

Did stamps and model airplanes in my youth, never got TOO into them but I tried. Once NES was in my house, it was all video games from then on out.

Yep, it's from Palladium.  I remember back in High School a buddy of mine had a bunch of Palladium books, including Robotech, and I always wanted to somehow put together a campaign that integrated the two, but never got around to it.  The actual game mechanics for TMNT are more complicated than they need to be, but the character creation process is a blast since it's so random.  You come up with the strangest characters.  It reminds me a bit of the new Gamma World (the only version of Gamma World I've looked into).
