Things get heated in the ebay thread, there's no question. I don't think anyone's been treated unfairly though. If it concerns you, avoid that thread. There's lots of other discussion going on that is in no way hostile. Why not tell us what you've been playing? Or ask about the system capabilities? Maybe pontificate on some obscure part of the system's history? I checked your post history and no one has been hostile towards you. In fact, most of your posts are thanking members for helping you out. Be friendly and helpful and you'll receive the same in return.

Your original post in this thread amounted to "f*ck you PCEFX!" The responses were roughly 50% "go f*ck yourself" and 50% "hey man, it's cool, here's how to fit in around here". You are shocked that you got negative responses? What did you think was going to happen?

Listen, I'm not trying to be an a$$hole, but despite being a grey beard, you've got some lessons to learn about social interaction. Hmm you are surprised when someone puts up a negative post after receiving one? Really? We rag on the resellers that sell on ebay for crazy prices cause if we didnt then the new people coming and getting into the TG16/PC Engine would think thats the going rate for those games.

Now seriously most of the gouging complaints seem legit to me. It is mostly members venting a bit about how a listing is $399 and sometimes 2 listings below you can see it roll for $50 dollars.
my problem with the whole gauging thing is beginners (and up until recently I knew jack about prices) get screwed beyond belief. If anything the forum can be a good tool for a begginer to find out various and fair price points.

I was only being half serious here. As for why I repeat my sentiment regarding US games being stupid, well, its usually in response to another thread with the same subject matter. There is a LOT of repetition here, as we all know. When some noob shows up and asks why such and such a game is so expensive for the millionth time, I will, for the millionth time, tell him to either shut up and pay it, or buy the superior JP release for 1/4th the money. Its a boring but valuable service, IMO. There are a lot of people that genuinely don't know that you don't have to pay $100 for Bomberman '93.
