That's a little steep for the forums, IMO.   Here is why I say that.  1. Not a Turbo Duo controller included 2. 3rd party power supply 3. The system has quite a bit of scuffing.  4. Even tho there is a new laser assembly installed, all caps on these should be replaced.  These systems are famous for that.     Just several months ago, I was able to buy a boxed Turbo Duo, with all original hook-ups, and a Super CD game pack-in that the seller swapped out for the Ys pack-in since I had it already.  I got this package for $300.00 shipped. 

With that said, you may have better luck if you adjust the price some in the forums.     Good luck with your sale.

I did some searching, its hard to find exactly what some sold for on here since usually the original poster edits the post showing it to be sold, often removing the asking price.

Being a partially capped unit, but with a new laser, I'd say $175 to $190 shipped is what to expect

Granted, you would get a slightly higher price on Ebay or maybe even Craigslist. Yes this is a forum dedicated to NEC consoles, and despite that, prices can't be that much lower just because of it. I would say knock off $30 off what you see on Ebay for seller fees and shipping.

While I did sell my US Duo here for something like $125 with original controller and power supply, it had a huge Yuna sticker on it so wan't any better cosmetically than this. I thought I was sort of ripping the guy off honestly (I think it was either Nat or Necromancer) since my Duo R only cost me $65.

No, the price is certainly not bad.    Just a little higher than the norm for the forums, mainly due to the reasons I listed.  Whoever gets it is certainly going to have to get it capped, since its almost certainly going to have some failure in that area on the ones not replaced already.  With that said, your system will most likely sell here since you added the OBO to it.    I'm positive that you will get decent offers.

Whatever price I ask people will offer less Guaranteed.
There was nothing wrong with the sound. I just installed the sound section caps because
I was in there and the first thing people ask is if there are sound problems with the DUO.

I would keep it but I have a DUO-R with BlueBMW mod chip installed

I think the price is fair.  Those scratches will come out with a little Turtle Wax, Armour All or Mother's "Back to Black".

Duo-R was released in Japan, is white, does not have a headphone jack, and the audio caps were more reliable.

The Turbo Duo was released in US (and has a Japan counterpart called PC Engine Duo), is black, has a headphone jack, and the audio caps are very prone to leaking.

Its only been three days.  Give it a little more time than that.  If you want to sell it fast you need to make it cheap.  If you want fair money for it youll just have to wait for someone.  Ebay is quick but no guarantees and fees etc.. hardly worth the trouble anymore.
