WTB: Ai Cho Aniki

Hey everyone. I'm looking to buy Ai Cho Aniki, couple up on ebay right now around $40 but not sure if they are a fair price or not so trying here first. Plus I'd much rather buy from the community then the bay so if you have a complete copy hit me up and let me know what you are asking!

iirc, mine cost $25, so about that, maybe $30 seems a better price.
though to be honest, i've always had a hard time getting a hold of any of the cho aniki games at a good price, guess no one wants to sell them.

I managed to get Cho Aniki for a reasonable price when I bought my Duo-R from the guy who modded it for me. Ai Cho Aniki I've never had luck with when I've looked. I'm trying not to cave on the ebay prices and hold out hope. I agree about the music! I found a site with loads of video game music a few years back and downloaded every song from Ai Cho Aniki, I've got it burned to a CD in my car. haha I can't wait to eventually get it and give it a go.

Haha I'm thinking about it. There are two copies up, both claim great condition. One is $43 shipped the other is $50k, the $50 one has the spine card, deciding if I want to fork over the extra for it,.

bleh..  Go for the cheaper one.  You cant play the spine.  lol

True. I'm kind of bummed, looking in completed auctions I see one ended for $29 recently. Gonna sleep on it and decide in the morning I think.

honestly it is no more then a $30 game. Cho Aniki is way better too

I've heard Ai Cho Aniki isn't as good but honestly, its been a LONG time want of mine so I'm still getting it, I have the first one already so I can compare. I actually caved this morning and bought it online, a new one got posted for cheaper, got it for $39 shipped plus it had a spine card as well so win win over either of the others that were up.

i disagree, i've got both, as well as the saturn game, ACA is my favorite.
can't get past like level 4 though, what with the timer and all...

Yeah I cant figure out ACA out really... How do you progress in the game?

so for those that have both, The first one looks more balanced on review sites.. 2nd one looks like the homo-muscle-loving brother aspect of the game gets in the way to enjoy the game as a pure shooter... any inputs on this observation?  I've been curious about the first Cho ANiki too.

Yeah you pretty much nailed it. The first game is definitely quirky in the enemy design and whatnot but is a fairly standard shooter. The 2nd one has designs that are completely over the top in the homoerotic department and has really strange gameplay mechanics. There's some kind of timer and the controls are much different than most shooters. Personally I enjoy playing the first one more, but the second one is just too weird to pass up.

My copy of Ai Cho Aniki arrived today. I love it! I personally like it better then the first Cho Aniki, its much more WTF, its prettier, difficulty is more inline with my general playing ability. the music is fantastic! Difficulty feels almost right, there are moments that feel impossible but I'm sure those will get easier once I figure out all the combos. Farthest I've yet managed to get is to the 2nd stage of the second level.

it must be me i liked the first game but i dont get the second one seems really bad i might be missing something ?.

i was playing the saturn one the other day pretty funny and well odd but not a good game the original Cho Aniki is strangely good.
