You actually bring up some good points, but TBH, this is just the way I am, and I'm uninclined to change. We're talking about a handful of posts here, which Necro seems to have singled out - in all of my posts here, I think about half of the dialogue between us is him insulting me in about 5 different posts, and it's a shame, because some of his posts are quite insightful. But the fact is, in those 5 posts he's just picked up on anything he can to pick a fight for some reason I don't get.
I dont think he is going out of his way to single you out. The fact of the matter is he's just tired of seeing threads started just for the sake of starting one, where there is no real merit to the thread itself. If it was anyone doing this same shit, you'd see the same kind of complaints no matter what.
Hell, I'm a regular person, and sometimes I will say stupid things, I'll get my facts wrong, and I'll put my foot in my mouth, but it's really not a large percentage of the time, and it's not like I'm going out of my way to annoy people.
The fact is, if you really find someones posts that boring or inane, there's an ignore button right there, or (and this is what I do) if you don't understand or are not particularly interested in a topic title, just don't click on it. If, however you want to do a little trash talk or try and troll someone, it's easy to jump in there and insult someone. I'd be more inclined to tone it down with a polite PM, but I think everyone knows that.
But now you know it is annoying some people, so you have a choice to continue doing said threads, or to not. Just be aware, threads started just to be solely about your daily life come off as self-important and attention whorish. I don't think that is how you want to be perceived as being. And the fact of the matter is, someone sees a new title to a thread, they are going to click on it in the hopes it will be a good read. They shouldn't have to put you on ignore because you don't know how to cut down the self-serving blog threads.
For instance (and I'm not picking a fight here), you say there are better places for this than a gaming forum, but we can't overlook that in a gaming forum, over half your posts are in fighting street. I'm guessing that you've known some of the members for a while or something, but one could argue there's a better place to do what you're doing than a video game forum. Hell there are better video game forums to do that in.
And over half my post are put in their proper place, in fighting street, no? Its a gaming forum that just happens to have a proper place for that kind of activity. And yeah, I have known members here for quite a while, years in some cases. I was here prior. I spent years talking PCE and TG16, so its not something I feel like I still need to talk about 6 years later. You can check my back log of post under my old account. The point is, the one you are missing rather, is that this may be a chit chat area, but its not "Soops Big Top Daily Life Experience Blog Chit Chat". You are trying to talk to people on a personal level about yourself, when the fact is, about no one here knows you yet on a level that justifies this kind of conversation to be had. If they don't know you, they wont care about what you did all day, its that f*cking simple.

I don't see you lasting very long here....You clearly have no f*cking clue how hard this forum has worked over the years. If you did you wouldn't spout off insulting shit like that. There are tons of informative threads here about games, mods, repairs, etc. You saying that shit is a disservice to all the people who put in hundreds of hours documenting their NEC experiences and other information regarding the system.
